King Creole (2000, DVD)

This DVD came back very quickly and in pristine condition. I will likely order from them again. The packaging was safe and the DVD case was in perfect working order.

What I Love about this DVD is it was a great movie and I enjoy seeing Elvis Presley in this movie. I enjoy being able to purchase items like this from Ebay because it would be difficult to find it otherwise and the great price and delivery I have gotten since I started shopping with Ebay is outstanding.

I loved this movie simply because it's so unlike the typical boy meets girl, boy chases girl role that he tends to play.... it seemed almost like an old school "beginning" mafia movie that truly showed Elvis was just as talented as I've always known him to be:) The non "good boy" image showed how things don't always play hand-in-hand for the perfect happy ending, but a non-stop twisting of love, lies and entertainment.

Better than average Elvis movie. Great music, if you like EP and New Orleans, which I do. Walter M. was good playing the bad guy.

This is one of my favorites with Elvis. It has it all, great plot, great acting and great music. Elvis showed the world he could act.
Listen to the greta songs like "King Creole", "Dixieland Rock", "Hard Headed Woman", and off course "Trouble". If you're looking for trouble, you came to the right place.

best movie Elvis was ever in. I loved the
fact that it showed so much of New Orleans historical districts.

I bought this Elvis movie because I am a big Elvis fan and this is one of my favorite movies. I wanted this one for my collection. Very happy to find it.

One of Elvis' best acting performances. It is also set in New Orleans which adds to the charm of this movie.

This movie is simply a great film for its day. Elvis proves that he could have been a GREAT actor, Col Parker would have let him!! This is definately not the typical movie with Elvis singing to dogs in a helicopter, or singing on a motorcycle with no band around! This IS a movie to see Elvis for who he wanted to be. His Army enlistment was post-poned for him to complete this movie. Filmed by the same director as "Casablanca". Highly recommended for those who may not be a huge Elvis fan but would like to become one! Just a GREAT movie!!

Elvis showed his potential for greatness as an actor in this movie, best described as "A Streetcar Named Destire" meets "Rebel Without a Cause." The soundtrack is very good with a destictive New Orleans flair.
