Juno (2008, DVD)

Her parents didn't see it coming. They were hoping she'd been expelled, into hard drugs, anything but pregnant.

Well, Juno (Ellen Page) was hoping that, too. It took 3 pregnancy tests to convince her.

Juno tried the abortion clinic first, but couldn't go through with it. Her friend Leah (Olivia Thirlby) convinces her to check out the Penny Saver for adoptive parents--or as she puts it couples 'desperately seeking spawn.'

She finds Mark (Jason Bateman) and Vanessa (Jennifer Garner), who seem to be the ideal couple. Vanessa has always wanted to be a Mom--and Juno and Mark have so much in common.

"Juno" takes us through a year of young Juno's life, including her relations with the father of her baby and her best friend, Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera), school, and the pregnancy and aftermath.

The film takes you on the gamut of emotions, but leaves you feeling good. I saw this film with my husband, who loved "Juno" as much as I did.

The story was very modern about an everyday event that many teenagers go through. I would recommend it for anyone over the age of 13. Might help them see what it is like going through an unwanted pregnancy but how in the end, it can help someone else.

The movie was as described. It didn't have any scratches, and was an excellant movie. The movie was shipped in a few days, and was as promissed. (Like New) It is a cute, and really funny movie. If you enjoy funny movies you would like this one. I recomend it. I had bought it because my boyfriend told me that I would like it.

This movie is far from anything that would happenin real life. A teen gets pregnet the parents truely does not seem really that unset. And she gets preg. by one of the dorkiest char. I have seen, I remember HS dorks did everything except have relations or anything else considered cool. The story is sloooow and cheesy jokes all the way through out. 1.6 outta 5

I bought this because I kept hearing about how great this movie was. I would say that if nothing else, it's worth renting. It's a cute and funny (dry humor) movie but I don't think it will get watched much more than a handful of times at my house. I might actually try to resell it.

After renting it, I knew I would watch it again and again... A good example of what teenagers should NOT do! Very funny!

The DVD was received quickly and it is perfect and new. I bought it for someone who needed to see the "message." A poignant and charming film.

This is the only movie that is about a girl that gets pregnant and made me laugh. Usually when I watch this type of movie I get upset, because I watch a movie about a teen pregnancy and I get emotional and cry about the girl that is pregnant. I watched this movie and it reminded me of neopoleon dynamite. I thought it was so low budget, but just as cool.

Hilarious while walking the delicate teenage pregnancy line. Good acting for the most part, im not a huge Jennifer Garner fan though.

I rented juno and really liked it and wanted to buy but didn't want to pay the prices in the store. I decided to check out EBAY and found it cheaper than any store right now and that included shipping and handling!!!!!

I love the movie, my wife even loves it more. It kept me laughing thruogh the whole movie. Although after watching it for the third time Juno'sarcasm gets a little annoying. It's one of those movies you have to allow the right amount of time before you watch it again.

While I am not a huge fan of the spears's girls really bringing the subject of teen pregnancy to the face of america. I thought this movie did it with a great deal more taste than anyone with the last name Spears.

This movie is heartwarming without being too sappy. Great acting and script. It truly hits homes for those that have been involved in a difficult situation of young pregnancy and adoption. You laugh you cry and have interesting conversations after. Worth the watch for sure. I have been disapointed more than once from movies with so much hype.. This one actually lives up to the reviews!

This movie was excellent. Very upbeat and fun. You got to know the characters and fell in love with them very quickly. This movie is totally how a young person reacts to situations they end up in. It was also refreshing to see the parents emotions. Normally a movie has the parents crazy or uptight. In this movie it has the older characters fun and loveable also not boring.

I love this movie, it's kind of like a family comedy something like that. I watched it once and I could watch it over and over again. And I like how it's educational- Juno is a teenager who gets pregnant accidentally and decides to give the child up for adoption once it gets born. So it is a great lesson for other teenagers out there Juno had a tough decision to make. And it also has some humor to it as well there are some funny parts throughout the movie. A must see movie you won't be disappointed.

I love the soundtrack. The lesson learn is great for teens to watch. I heard it was a great movie. I really enjoy watching it.
