Jaws is one of THE classics everyone with a love of the sea and its terrors should own. It never fails that I am driven to nailbiting and goosebumps watching this movie. Of course, Stephen Spielberg made this movie what it is, along with the three primary actors, including Richard Dreyfuss. A MUST-HAVE movie!
I own this movie on VHS but once I got a wide screen TV I have to buy this timeless classic on DVD. I love everything about the film the music, acting, writing, directing and the Hitchcockian feel.
great edition! exclent quality, think this is the best edition of all. never thought it have a booklet inside with many photographs of the film. highly recomended!
For one thing, the movie is great!! Add in all of the bonus features this particular dvd includes and you've got a fantastic addition to any dvd library!! For ex.. The deleated scenes, Outtakes, Photos and Storyboards Really take you back to the moment the film was released in theaters!! Remember the excitment you felt in the dark theater the first time you saw JAWS? Well , seeing all of this never before seen footage and outtacks, brings me back to that moment in time! Excellent Film! Even better 30th Anniversary Edition!!!
Now I know that you are thinking that this is just another release of JAWS, which has how many versions of it out. Well, it is another version, but it has a few extras. Now I have every release of this movie, including on VHS. I wanted this do bad. The booklet is a reshash of what is in the documentary, and the documentary is just longer than what was on the 25th Anniversary release. Who cares? It is another release of JAWS. BTW just so you know, this is my favorite movie of all times so they could change a colour on the packaging and I would buy it. So all I can tell you, is that if you are the one person left on earth that has not seen the movie, this will catch you up on the last 30 years. If you have seen it, unless you are a die hard fan, or do not have another copy of this in your library, not sure you want to get it. I would have paid double what I did for it, but some people wouldn't. All other shark movies have a insurmountable task to be even half as good as JAWS. We will have to see what Steve Alten's MEG will bring.
This is a great movie, the fact that it had all the extras makes it a great buy. This is my husbands all time favorite movie and the anniversary addition makes it seem like a brand new movie.

This was an easy DVD to search for and it was at an incredible price. My friend loves this movie and puts it at his top 10 list of movies. The movie came just as described, new. I bought this DVD as a christmas present and he loved it. Thank you ebay!
3 decades after it's release, still one of the best of all time. Seeing this as a kid, I had nightmares that my bed was floating in the ocean, and Jaws was out there going to get me. Just remembering the horror parts are enough to make me cringe, but seeing this movie again recently made me realize what a good story and what an excellent cast this movie brought with it. Roy Scheider will forever be remembered for the man who killed Jaws. What's amazing is the movie is scary, and you don't even see the shark for like the whole first hour of the movie, and it's still compelling. And the part where Richard Dreyfuss checks out that ship and the decomposed head pops out, I jump every time I see that. Extra deleted scenes, and the Making of Jaws are worth watching, even though no extras are needed to enjoy this classic.
