James Bond Ultimate Collector's Set (2007, DVD)

Watched a couple of the the earlier movies. Did a very good job removing the grain effect from these movies.I believe the ultimate set is worth the money if you like the Bond movies.

My husband wanted this set at Christmas time and by the time I went to purchase it I couldn't find it. It is a must have if you are a James Bond fan.

I've been wanting to purchase a James Bond Collection for some time now, I'm a huge Ian Fleming fan...love his novels! I found The Ultimate Collecto's Set so I decided to buy, so many extras and a GREAT quality of all the movies! I also thought I had a good deal on it!

I bought it for present for my friend,he is a big fan of 007, so I can not tell you much about it.Thank you.

Personally, I'm not much of a bond fan, but I took a gamble on this one as a gift for a true LOVER of 007. Well, he thought it was fabulous and has been bragging about it ever since!!

I really enjoy the fact I have the whole set in one easy to find place. The display box is very nice and the extras included in the set makes it better yet. There is nothing I do not like about it and I bought the set because I enjoy the movies and wanted the complete set. I tried to find this set on the local maket, but was not able to find it. I started looking on the net and when I found it I did not hesitate to buy!

If you enjoyed any of the Bond movies over the years they are all here for you to view once more in beautifully restored versions. The color and sound could not be better. If you like extras, those are all here for you as well. There are TV specials on Bond and lots of very well done "making of" features that are full of interesting facts about the films, gadgets, stunts, and people involved in the making of all the 21 films. It is truely a complete collection. The one Bond film Never Say Never Again with Sean Connery, which was made by a different company is not included and should be added by viewers in my opinion to make a truly complete collection. The one thing that improves the watching of this set in my opinion is to take the time to make a list and view the films from the first one Dr. No to the last in cronological order. This improves the viewing because you learn little things about Bond's life and the characters that appear in the films again and again that are missed if one does not view them in cronological order. That list I made really improved our viewing enjoyment. I am surprised the makers of the set did not provide one. Bond as a character did not just appear, but changed and grew over the years and viewing the films in order helps make sense of some of the changes that occured along the way. Again, it is a great set and a must for any Bond fan. I highly recommend it. John R. Hardison

It has all of 007's movies. Also lots of extras, including rarely viewed behind the scenes shots with the actors and actress themselves. The digital sound and crystal clear viewing is great. Take a trip to a foreign land by watching 007. I would recommend to all.

I have yet to find any problems with this. If you collect DVDs and/or a James Bond fan, this is a must have.

A must for all James Bond lovers. It's great to review the old classics like Gold Finger and watch all the way through to the modern classic Casino Royale.

The digitally re-mastered images are far superior to my tape collection. Better color and more detail. The sound quality also beats my VHS tapes. A genuine upgrade. All 21 James Bond movies are in the set. There are four boxes of five movies each plus the last movie, Casino Royale, in its own separate case. Each box is a "collection" and not five movies in order of release. I won't offer an artistic review because these movies have been out for some time and most people know if they like the genre or not. One dislike: the upgraded images are a bit darker than my tapes and some scenes do not show up well on my screen. If you have a really sophisticated system, you will probably want to increase the gamma setting (brightness). Bottom line: I'm happy and would buy this set again.

A Must for any James Bond Fan! A Must for any Action fan. Greatest movie series set ever! Sharp looking box. Special disc's are just great.

I literally grew up with these movies starting with "Dr. No" (I always found it odd that the first movie was Fleming's sixth book). I've always wanted to collect them, but with the changing formats, I kept putting it off. I'm glad I changed my mind..

I haven't watched them all yet (I started with "Dr. No"), but the remastering of the early movies is great. There are 21 movies in all, 42 DVD's (the set weighs a ton). The second DVD with the early movies has interesting interviews with Ian Fleming.

I'm a man of few words, but this review is going to take more words than any other review I wrote. When I start watching all the 21 James Bond movies (I'm a big fan of 007) in the set I got as a Christmas present for myself, all original and without any flaws, I felt out of this world. Watching it in my Home Theater, it was awesome! I spend four days watching all the movies. But the incredible was the transaction I made with nxh25 (thanks Nicole) and in one week after I made the transaction I received in the door of my home by a USPS carrier, just before Chistmas Day. What a good Holiday present!

Product came as advertised, no defects, sealed and brand new. The only thing I was upset about was that delivery took about 3 weeks. If I knew free shipping meant 2-3 weeks delivery I would have upgraded the shipping as this was a b-day gift.
