I purchased this for my son. It was an earned reward for chores accomplished around home. Since it was not avalible locally I found it on Ebay after a brief search. By obtaining it here, I managed to get it at a discounted cost , and from a seller not trying to make a killing on the shipping charge. It was exactly what he wanted and suited my budget. Overall it was an excellent buy and a fun learning experience for my son.

Get one for FREE!!! Have a look at this video first:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFKYVE__Mug

Just take 2 minutes and read this. This is very EASY to do! It literally
takes 10 minutes to setup. Simply follow the steps below. I promise you,
this is 100% real. I will answer you on any question! Here is what you
do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is
the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete
the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This
is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3
different pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with
nothing else to buy...No commitments!!!

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster
online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would
regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use
them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Stamps.com for a 30 day
free trial and it never cost me a penny and I received credit for it the
same day). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you.
After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 8-13 people
(depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link
(just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your
referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your PS3 System or your selected item for free, I
chose the PS3 80gb System. No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these
companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all
the referrals. All you have to do is post it ! They use us as
advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes
toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as
Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you
want. You must use your own authentic link though. You will get your own
personal link after your orders placed.

Step 1: Click this link http:
http://www.YourPS34free.com/index.php?ref=5173274

Step 2: Sign up and chose an account type (Referral is the easiest and
best).

Step 3: Complete just 1 offer (like Blockbuster or Stamps.com) and refer
up to 13 people to do the same (use eBay! Do what I did, copy my ad).

Step 4: Receive your PS3 System for FREE!!!!!!!!!! (Even The Shipping Is
Free!!!)

For proof that this is for real, click on the link below. It's the
company that is behind everything.

If you have any questions feel free to message me!! I'll Respond ASAP.
If you want hints/tips about the whole process, I'd be happy to fill you
in.

007 Nightfire Offers a Great Multiplayer Experience
Review created: 01/21/08
by:
mes_1515 ( 4 )

Bond Nightfire is a great game for those looking to have fun with a few friends on the Gamecube. Even if you don't have friends over, you can still enjoy a fast-paced single player mode, or play with computer bots in multiplayer.

This game is packed with many weapons you'd find in all the Bond movies such as snipers, grenade launchers, the golden gun, and sentinels. It also includes mini tanks and helicopters. While playing single player, you unlock characters to play in multiplayer from different movies such as Oddjob, Pussy Galore, Christmas Jones, and tons more.

While the game focuses on multiplayer, you can simply play single player mode happily as well. Nightfire features cool level designs with different objectives. As you complete objectives you can play more and more missions. This is my favorite Bond game by far and I highly recommend you to buy it.

The Best Game I Ever Played!
Review created: 08/07/07(updated 08/07/07)

It is one of the Best Games I ever played. I think it has about a dozen levels. Not to mention the multiplayer games. On multiplayer you can have up to 4 players. On the single player games, they give you hints! There is nothing that I dislike about this game.

Nightfire-Well worth the money, and then some.
Review created: 03/12/07

Goldeneye. If you've ever played it, then you know all the warm, fuzzy feelings that the name brings. Ever since that N64 game, people have expected great video games from 007. For the most part, they have been disappointed. The World Is Not Enough. Tomorrow Never Dies. 007 Racing. Agent Under Fire. Under the guidance of EA, 007 never really managed to even reach the bar set by Rare all those years before. With Nightfire, EA still does not reach that bar.
But Nightfire is the closest they have ever been.
If you are even remotely familiar with James Bond, Nightfire will feel right at home. World takeover plot? Yes. Sharp-dressed-spy-who-does-no-spying? Check. Shapely women? Yessir. Martinis? Sure.
The story mode covers all of these, most at the same time. It starts out well enough, with Bond having to 'sneak into' a party in a castle. From there on, it's mostly a strict shoot-em-up, with a few bland driving levels, some on-rails shooting, blah. It's all pretty solid, if not forgettable. Standouts include a 'sniping level' that is actually really fun because it involves stealth, as well as a level that involves escaping from a hostile-infested building, which is really fun because of its total disregard for stealth. Go figure.
Anyways, the single player can be fun, but admit it. All you really want is the...
MULTIPLAYER. And, if you didn't want the multiplayer, you need to sort out your priories, because the multiplayer is (for me, at least) the best FPSing the Gamecube can offer. (And yes, Nightfire is on Xbox and PS2, but I have not tried it on either.) Although the map selection is a bit on the slim side, there are some serious classics here. There are also a plentiful amount of modes to try out on the maps. Capture the Flag. Deathmatch. Assassination. Destruction. King of the Hill. Goldeneye Strike. Fun stuff.
Four players are able to play, as well as up to six bots. (Note: one map; Ravine, does not allow bots. Just four players. Incredible map though.) The bot AI is...Adequate. There are points when the bots will get stuck in a wall, or score amazing 400 yard headshots, but for the most part, they are pretty fun opponents.
Slowdown is nonexistent in single player, but on a large map with six bots and four players, it can rear its ugly head. This is in no way a deal breaker, though. Most games run smoothly, with no hitch at all.
The only real beef I have with the multiplayer is that while there are some incredible weapons (Sentinel, AIMS-20, and others) they are all set in special 'Weapon Groups'. You know, 'Automatics', 'Pistols', 'Explosives', etc. So, I cannot have a game where, say, I have sniper rifles, trip bombs, rocket launchers, and shotguns because they are all in different weapon groups. The only way to get this is by selecting a 'random' weapon group, and getting very, very lucky. But, this is a very small qualm with an otherwise fantastic multiplayer.
So, in the end, is Nightfire worth the ten odd bucks (or less) you can get it for? In my opinion, if you enjoy FPS multiplayer, and own a console, you simply have no excuse not to own Nightfire. I can honestly say that my friends and I have put over twenty-four hours into that game, and we still play it to this day. If you still have doubts with parting with a few dollars towards this game, ask yourself this: Do you enjoy first-person-shooting? Do you have friends? If you answered yes to both of these, you owe it to yourself to purchase 'Nightfire'.

  Great Multiplayer
Review created: 09/03/06

007 Nightfire on Nintendo Gamecube is an excelent multiplayer FPS game that you will be able to enjoy with your friends. The Gamecube version has the options of adding bots into multiplayer, which means you don't even need a friend to play deathmatch mode. There is several different modes of gameplay to choose from (deathmatch, capture the flag, assassination, ect...). The weapons you get during multiplayer are pretty cool, especially the self guided missiles, which you control in a First-Person view. You can also destroy your enemy with a RC Helecopter and Tank.

The graphics are not the real greatest, but they are not the worst either.

The sound is not bad, pretty good.

The gameplay is entertaining, rather then being bored after 10-minutes.

There is no blood in this game, which some people may consider a disadvantage.

Overall, 007 Nightfire is a pretty good game.

  Bond, you failed me.
Review created: 03/17/06
by: bwalk -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
The music, driving stages

Cons:
Outclassed in everyother way, even by older shooters, POOR SPEED

I can sum up this game in one word: atrocious. This game is just horrible. I don t even though why I m reviewing this. It just..sucks. If you haven t played a FPS (First Person Shooter) game before, you could give this a shot, but you might be disappointed, especially as it s a Bond game. Story: I don t even GET what the story is, it s so confusing. I think it has to do with a weapon called Nightfire or something. Mind you, most people don t play FPS s for the story. If you want story, go play an RPG (like Final Fantasy). You want some story details, check out some other reviews. Graphics: .

Electronic Arts is on the right track...
Review created: 08/23/04
by: agentunderfire -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Good improvement over AUF, Bond looks like Brosnan, much better multi-player

Cons:
NO DRIVING MULTI-PLAYER!, Bond is not voiced by Brosnan, levels are annoying rather than hard.

The tux, the car, the gun, the girls. Agent 007, aka James Bond, returns in an all new game from Electronic Arts. Nightfire is the next installment after Agent Under Fire. Like previous Bonds, this is a First Person shooter, and you, as 007, must once again save the world. (What's new, right?) Story In an addition that is more like the movies, EA has included a mini-tutorial that serves as the pre-credits sequence. Bond must save a Dominique Paradis from crazy car chasing assasins in Paris. After the credits sequence plays, your mission becomes clearer. Raphael Drake, world industrialist,...

James Bond 007: NightFire - Best Bond Game Since GoldenEye
Review created: 12/31/02
by: vadimio -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
many cool gadgets/weapons, fun multi-player, awesome FPS and driving levels, Bond game

Cons:
no online support, a bit short

A James Bond game titled GoldenEye, made by Rare, was released in 1997. This game has been considered the as the best Bond game ever, even though it is for the N64. Since '97, some Bond games have been released, but none have surpassed GoldenEye in graphics. The license to produce Bond games now belongs to EA, formerly known for their amazing sports games. Earlier this year, EA published Agent Under Fire, but this game had many problems, and was extremely short. But now yet another Bond has been created, for the PC, PS2, XBOX and GameCube. I have played the GameCube version and will tell you..

  Fun with Firearms!
Review created: 10/17/03
by: educatedphool -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Play while consuming, or with the intent to consume, large quantities of oven chips.

Cons:
When you don't have oven chips. That sucks.

I love this game. I really do. I didn't at first, though. My family first obtained it over the last Christmas/ New Year break, and because there was nothing else to do and no school to go to in the morning my brothers would sit up all night, every night and play it. I took one look at what they were doing and decided that it was incredibly boring and not worth my time, which was better spent dealing with an all-consuming schoolgirl crush while watching sh!tty non-ratings period television, Video Hits' New Years Eve Special and old January break favourites like "The Big Chill". Then one night..

Ahh...the Beauty of Napalm. It's Even More Beautiful When Blasted Through Your Throat!
Review created: 01/05/03
by: wandering_mage -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
EA has improved almost every aspect of what made AUF terrible.

Cons:
The low number of levels, and horrible voices are here to stay.

THE BASIC BEEF Before I begin, allow me to give you a very important piece of advice: NEVER play a video game at Wal-Mart. I really think the reason I disliked this game from the start, was because of the environment I played it in. An annoying kid behind me begging to play, a controller that has been used for God-knows-what, and a noisy atmosphere wouldn t let me pay attention to the story, or get into the game at all. This is why I have really shrugged off the Idea of EA s newest game. Bored, with nothing else to rent, I got Nightfire. Now that I played it in the comfort and peace of my own.
