  James Bond Review

This game isn't bad. It has great 3D effects. Good driving sections and walking sections. Details are O.K. For a shooter it's o.k. Nothing stands out as outstanding in this game but for a 007 shooter it's O.K., worth buying for a low price.

My favorite Bond game to date- I've played them all.
Review created: 12/17/07

This is my all time favorite James Bond game! I bought this game, like almost all other Bond games, when it first came out, and I still play it to this day. The graphics were great when the game came out and the game play itself is very fun. This game isn't really based off from any Bond movie in particular (though it seems to take cues from some at times), which makes it all the more interesting. It's not something that you've seen before.

One thing that I particularly liked about the single player mode is the ability to earn upgrades-- things like a Golden P2k, increased clip capacity, etc -- all of this made me want to keep playing and playing. I still haven't been able to unlock all of the platinum awards, though.

The levels are very fun and you'll do a variety of things from saving a damsel in distress to driving a Tank. It's a blast!

The multi player is one golden part of the game, in my opinion. Grab a buddy and you can endlessly blast each other away for hours on end. Fun stuff. While it isn't as fun as the multi player in Nightfire, it is still very entertaining.

Overall, this is my all time favorite Bond game. None really come close. This game has never ceased to stop entertaining me, which is something I can say for very, very few games. Highly recommended by me! A 5 out of 5!

The PS2 game did not work and was very scratched. I sent a personal e-mail to the seller hoping to resolve the issue and never rcv'd a response. This is poor service and I feel like I was cheated. I feel sellers should make sure the product works before putting it out for the public to buy. I guess buyer beware is necessary for this seller!

I purchased this product because my son loves to play PS2. The graphics and stages are clearly Bond, very exciting, and challenging. I highly recommend this game for others who the enjoy video experience.

  Great Game!
Review created: 07/17/06

This is a great game with a variety of mission types. Some driving missions, stealth missions, and pure action missions! It's pretty easy and can be beaten in a couple of days if you are an intermediate to experienced gamer. The graphics are phenonamal considering it's a fairly old game. The in-game cinemas and voice-overs are also incredible. This is a perfect one for the begginer in you. So, if you want a game that can always entertain you over and over again, check out James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire.

James Bond: Agent Under Fire: Not As Good As Goldeneye, But What Is?
Review created: 01/07/02
by: pavona21 -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Pretty Nice Graphics, Decent Story, SOME Fun Missions, Multiplayer.

Cons:
Too Easy, Way Too Easy, Single Player=bad.

Background/Story So I've been on a "vacation" from epinions for the last 2 days, and I know you all missed me.(Please, don't stop me now, the more confident I am, the better this thing will be) I was finally able to break my addiction from epinions for one full day, and now I'm back for more. So what have I been up to during my "vacation"? I've been playing Agent Under Fire for the good old Ps2. When noted, I had super high expectations of this game. Goldeneye, for N64, is my favorite FPS ever. But, ever since EA bought the license for the international spy, I have felt a void in my gaming...

Goldeneye can sleep soundly at night, lets put it that way... (FPS W/O)
Review created: 01/29/02

Pros:
On-foot missions. Nice graphics. Good sound. Use of gadgets. Bond feel.

Cons:
750 million times too easy, in every respect. Driving missions. Enemy A.I.

It s pretty hard for any videogames developer to release a James Bond game these days. Why? Well, because the long and looming shadow of Goldeneye, a release on the N64, always overshadows any new release. Comparisons between this master and the challenger are inevitable. And no 007 game has ever risen above Goldeneye (admittedly a very hard thing to do), and I ve witnessed all kinds of attempts at the bond genre. From the absolutely woeful (Tomorrow Never Dies - PS1), to the decent, if nothing amazing (The World is not Enough - all platforms) - nothing has ever surpassed the master. And this.

This Title Disgraces the Bond Name
Review created: 12/20/01
by: Rock_On -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
driving missions,OK graphics

Cons:
everything else

Do you remember that tingly feeling you got inside you when you were playing Goldeneye007 on the Nintendo 64? You know, you d play it and get all giddy inside after completing a mission. Then while people were still playing the game up until a couple years ago, The World Is Not Enough007 came out on the N64 and gave you a tingly feeling all over again, but not quite as good as Goldeneye did. Goldeneye is a legend in my eyes. Ever since Goldeneye came out, developed by Rare Ware, the Bond games have gone down in quality, since EA Games has taken the license for the Bond games. I ve got nothing.

  Double-O Heaven!
Review created: 05/31/02
by: homewrecker -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Lots of weapons & gadgets, single & multiplayer modes, cool graphics & sound

Cons:
Not enough levels, anti-climatic ending

Despite some of the less favorable reviews I have heard for this game, I was actually quite impressed with it. It's easy to jump right in and get down to business. You get a good variety of weapons and a surprisingly USEFUL collection of gadgets from Q to assist you. GAMEPLAY -------- There are several modes of play in this game, ranging from running around on foot with a gun in hand, to racing through city streets in your car, to plowing an armed tank through a factory. Each mode has pretty easy to master controls and I found all of them to be loads fun. ACTION ------ The heavy use of...

Like Bond, this game has the style. Unlike Bond, it's no fun
Review created: 03/20/02
by: NMD85 -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Fine visuals, well-done cut scenes, original story, driving portions

Cons:
Overkilled Bond showmanship, noticable sloppiness/laziness, very unlengthy

Ever since Rare dropped the licensing to the world s suave double-o agent, it seems no gaming company has been able to emulate the perfection of Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64. It also seems that when a name like James Bond or any other license appears on a game, it automatically becomes a euphamism for a mediocre product with substandard capabilities. After Electronic Arts picked up the rights to James Bond, they ve been shoveling out mediocrity in Goldeneye s shadow, including The World Is Not Enough, which became a multi-platformer (N64, PS, GBC and almost a Playstation 2 title). This new...
