Pros:
"Beggars and Hangers-On"; great musicianship; Slash, as usual, is ON.
Cons:
More than half of the songs are terrible, and Eric Dover is positively abrasive.
One must wonder: just how p*ssed off was Slash at Axl Rose in 1995? It's Five O'Clock Somewhere was Slash's first go at a solo outing. The band, named after the scaly, slithering companions the Guns N' Roses guitarist liked to keep around the house, was called Slash's Snakepit. One only needs to look at the lineup of the Snakepit to conclude that, just maybe, Slash was a little bit miffed at GNR's satchel-lunged lead singer.
