In the Dark - Grateful Dead (CD 1987)

So The Kids They Dance And Shake Their Bones!

Pros:
One of the bands best!

Cons:
It's not a live recording

Although the Grateful Dead were selling out concerts year after year to the tune of millions of dollars for nearly 30 years, The only single ever to make it to the Top-Ten was "A Touch of Grey" from the album "In The Dark." A song about keeping a little grace while bravely getting older. This album was released shortly after Jerry Garcia had passed out at his home and slipped into a diabetic coma. Pros:

Pros:
strong comeback with 8 more unique Grateful Dead tracks

Cons:

The Grateful Dead's "In The Dark" album was a very strong comeback for them back in 1987. People were out buying and listening to their old albums again. Their videos were being played on TV all the time. The concerts were always selling out everywhere they played. Those concerts were also some of the not so many shows that had many people from all age groups in the crowd. There were young kids, people in their late teens, young adults, people in their thirties, middle-aged people, on through to the people who were old and gray. They were all there to see the Grateful Dead perform. The...
