
Excellent Mystery, Great Evolving Characters makes this book a hit

Pros:
fast paced, cleverly written, and always a surprise ending.
Cons:
reintroduction of characters from previous books can be tedious
I love Nora Roberts, and I was introduced to J. D. Robb, her alternate pen name, by a friend. As soon as I read the first book in the "In Death" series, I was hooked. All of the "In Death" books are wonderful, and you can read them alone or out of order, but they flow wonderfully when read in order and keep up the fun subplots graciously. The only con I can see to these is that sometimes it gets a bit repetitive description wise, but that is a necessary evil for those who haven't read all in the series. I can easily skim through the reintroductions of characters if I need to, but I do find...
