Sinead is an Angel from heaven. Nothing compares to her voice and style. This is one of the most important works by a female artist to date. To anyone that has never heard this C.D. be prepared to be moved.
This is Sinead at her best! Her hit song "Nothing Compares 2 U" is one of the many excelent songs on the CD. If you at all like Sinead O'Connor this is a must have CD!

Pros: O'Connor puts her heart into every performance.
Cons: Title track I could do without.
Some records you just don't get tired of, no matter how many times you hit repeat. When my mood is one that doesn't look for a particular album to listen to, on those days when I look over everything I own and still NOTHING jumps out at me, there are a list of albums I own that I know I can put on and enjoy just as much as I did when I first bought them. This is one of them. If 1987s The Lion and the Cobra was an amazing debut, it was only the beginning, and 1990s I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got took everything up another few notches. Pros: strong words, powerful voice
Cons: only applies when the mood fits
My first Sinead O'connor album and what a great introduction to a woman with a radical standpoint, and an amazing voice. I do not want what I haven't got has the most well-known song of Sinead, Nothing Compares 2 U. Sinead O'connor may have gotten bad publicity (although they say any publicity is good for something) but it was because she had something to say. "In her arms she holds three cold babies and the first word they learned was 'please'" I love music, and even some of the top 40 tunes have really catchy beats, but if the artist has nothing strong and new to say, it doesn't hold my...
