This was a great movie and blu-ray made it even better. I really liked this movie so much that i almost play this movie twice a week. I love this.

Overall, I'd probably give "I Am Legend" an A-. It's actually an entertaining action-packed movie. It's so addictive! I mean, watching it the first time makes you want to watch it all over again! It's an excellent piece and they couldn't of done better. Though, there had been some minor mistakes in the movie but otherwise it's just a great movie overall. It's definitely a must-see! I do recommend this movie to all people lurking around for a great late-night movie!

Great movie...Will Smith is the best in sci-fi movies!!! THe graphics are awesome and the story plot is incredible; hope to see a part 2 but doubt it since in died in the movies...sorry if I ruined it for you, lol.

This is a must see movie on Bluray! The video is great quality and the movie is intense. The alternate ending is good and the theatrical ending is okay depending upon who you ask. It's a 8 of 10 for me!

THIS movie was one of the best movies ever made the two endings are amazing just didnt really like the first ending but im happy for the alternate ending the scary thing is this could happen! lol

I love the movie in general. I read a lot of reviews about what movies are worth buying in Blu-ray and shelling out the extra cash. This film was amazing in Blu-ray and is a must have!

I think this wonderful remake really did a good job. Will Smith does has a great performance in a hard roll. The dog is just amazing. It's not rated R so it doesn't show much gore or too much violence so all ages can enjoy it. It makes my mother jump every time she watches it and my only complain is some of the CGI seems a little cheesy on the deer animals and zombie/vampire infected people "Dark Seekers" Kinda sticks to the book.

Once again Will Smith brings his superstar talent in this orignal thriller. The suspense and comic action is all there to make even the least interested person engaged in the film. A definete must have for this years movie lineup. Don't hesitate to pick up a copy.

This is a great movie. It looks good in HD. Will Smith does an outstanding job. A little sad in some places, but still a great movie.

This is such a great movie with a stellar acting job by Will Smith. He goes through a whole range of emotions from start to finish, and really exemplifies his role. The blu-ray version is superb! And you definitely need to get the version with the alternate ending, it is much better than the theatrical ending!

Will smith can act. And he carries this movie well... Lets face it, there isn't too much to say if there is only one character in the entire movie.

Well there isn't. The dog, the Religious Girl and the kid (never speaks in the movie.)

And the vampire people that growl and unhinge their jaws to show acres of sharklike teeth.

The CGI of the animals in NYC and the ruins of NYC are pretty good even in Blu-Ray where a lot of Hollywood CGI Effects just tend to look flat and / or uninspired.

I have read the story. This wasn't the same. It wasn't exactly the same as the Charleton Heston version either... not the (was it Vincent Price?) black and white version from the mid 1960's.

I have been trying to write the review without spoilers. This is more difficult than I imagined.

On its own... I feel the movie needs a bit more storytelling. There are a great deal of shots around NYC and actions by Dr. Bob (Dr. Robert Neville played by Will Smith) hunting... talking to mannekins in the DVD store... We hear voiceovers of the radio brodcast Dr. Bob set up...

But it is empty somehow.

My wife usually doesn't like these types of movies, but she watched the whole thing. I had to explain to her what had happened and why, that explanation was too ephemeral in the film for anyone but a film student to ascertain!

Still... a decent story (if you know the premise) and wel shot. Almost calustrophobic at times.

Even though it was not an original idea they made the script come alive in modern times. I loved the action and drama. Probably one of the best movies I have ever seen.

First of all I thought it was a very good movie. Then when it came to Blu-ray, I had to get it . It looks fantastic!

Great movie! Keeps me looking forward as to what will happen next....Makes you wonder --- with technology and discoveries, does it really help human or could it turn against the human race in the end

He lifts this story into a different arena. The CGI is too much. But Smith's humanity shows an actor at his best, and is reason enough to watch.

i am a HUGE will smith fan, so when i started seeing the previews, i put it on my wish list of movies to see. the previews were extremely vague, so i had no idea what i was in store for. i figured if will smith was in it, it had to be good. so i watched...dreadfully. i felt the movie was very far-fetched and odd that only he and the dog survived?? the first 5 minutes of the movie was the best for me (hunting and mustang). i struggled through it and really didn't like it. glad i didn't buy it.
my brother read the book and said it was much better than the movie, so maybe i'll try reading it???

Great Movie to add to your collection the extras are jam pack and the alternative ending is somewhat better than the original. Highly Recommend.

Excellent value. I thought the movie on its own was pretty good, and the Blu-ray only makes it better. I can count the whiskers on Will Smith's chin if I want to.

I liked the story of this movie, but there were a few parts that made my stomach turn. I enjoyed the characters and the humor, but wish it would have ended differently.
