
House of Love Should be Listed with Secular Music!

Pros:
Most of the songs are catchy, pleasant pop.
Cons:
This is one of her crossover attempts that is pretty shallow.
I like Amy Grant's old stuff, so I bought House of Love. If you're looking for Christian music, this isn't for you. These songs were her attempt to make it into the secular market, which several of the songs did. Most of these songs are romantic love songs, such as, "Lucky One," "Say You'll be Mine," and "House of Love," (which she recorded with her now-husband, Vince Gill). Others are humanitarian, such as "Helping Hand" and "Children of the World," and one is even environmental ("Big Yellow Taxi"). But if you want a Christian song with depth, it's not here.
