Hocus Pocus (1999, DVD)

I saw this movie when I was younger and just loved it! A great cast that does a wonderful job. Also a soundtrack that fits the movie perfectly. Three witches from the "old days" get released into modern times by a virgin named Max. Max along with his sister and friend try to find a way to get the witches gone for good. Also includes a talking cat (who use to be a boy), a zombie, and school bullies. Great movie for any ages!

I bought the movie Hocus Pocus it's a great movie i've watched it since I was a kid, It has wonderful characters, it's funny and fun! I would suggest this movie to all kid's and adult's!

The title is kind of dumb but the movie is quite clever. Its more witty than funny in some places with a few token groaners.The three witches meeting the Prince of Darkness(Gary Marshall) is quite hilarious.There's not too much here that will scare the kiddies but it does enforce the age old moral that kids shouldn't mess with strangers and listen up to their parents. Good Halloween fun to put you in that Halloweeny type of mood.

This is such a great movie to watch with your kids around Halloween time. It seems like my children can watch it over and over again!

One of the funniest Halloween movies for kid on the market. You and your kids can watch it over and over, unlike many cartoons. Laugh out loud funny witches stuck in our time and having major culture shock. When these three witches get brought back to life, chaos ensues. From creepy spell books to flying vacuums, it's quite fun.

I also love this movie, This movie always gets me in the mood for halloween. There is nothing i dont like about this movie, and if your a big halloween nut like i am, i would really encourage you to watch this too.

Walt Disney has always produced movies that I like and this is no exception.
Kathy Najimi was the spark that really made this comedy comedic.
Bette Midler was her usual superb self as the oldest sister of the three witches. Sarah Jessica Parker was remarkable as the youngest and dumbest
(blonde) of the three.
I have enjoyed this movie over and over, and plan to enjoy it over and over some morth

As stated in the title. This is one of Disney's best. A great movie for the whole family to enjoy.

I have just received a warning from e-bay to not purchase items that require you to go outside the options for payment on ebay. This items requires the buyer to do so. I attempted to pay for this item through several different options both in and outside of ebay however none of them worked. I finally found the company which the seller asks to make payments to, and they are no longer in business. And the website directs you to another company that told me that they do not deal with buyers, but just sellers.
I wrote to the seller to ask why my payments were not being accepted, and there was no response. However, today I received an e-mail from the seller that I had not paid for the item. I do not wish to pay for this item outside of ebay as it has indicated me to do so. Therefore, I do not have any more options for payment with this seller...

This is one of my favorite movies of all time!! I watched this movie ever since it first came out when I was a little kid, and I'm still a fan today!! It's got great actors and actresses in it that do an amazing job at just that: acting!! It's got an amazing plot-line that keeps you watching the whole way through!!

THIS MOVIE CAME OUT WHEN MY KIDS WERE LITTLE AND HAS BECOME A FAMILY TRADITION TO WATCH IT EVERY HALLOWEEN! IT'S JUST BECOME PART OF OUR HOLIDAY THING!WE LOVE IT!.....IT'S A FUNNY AND FUN MOVIE!

This movie is great for anyone who loves Halloween. It really gets you in the mood to decorate and make costumes. I watch this every year, with my little girl...it's now her favorite movie.

Great for kids, and in typical Disney form...wonderful family entertainment. If you are on the fence about getting this movie...I say go for it!!

Good Disney detail - the spell book is cool. Decent plot. The witches are funny and bumbling but still good antagonists. Especially loved Midler and Parker. No oscars here ... just Halloween fun.

Bett Middler is awsome. All of them are infact the children found this movie funny and I think it would make good clean humor DVD for those times when I pick me up is in prder. Thank You Karie G

Hocus Pocus was always one of my favorite movies as a kid, and still is today! I believe that Hocus Pocus adds a little magic to childhood! It is very funny, and is one of those movies that everyone can enjoy! I bought this movie, because I remember it from childhood! I highly recommend this movie for the family, or anyone to watch! We still have a little Hocus Pocus in us sometimes!
