Hitch (2005, DVD)

I probably liked "Hitch" for different reasons than most... Sure, Will Smith is hilarious, Eva Mendes is gorgeous, there are plenty of laughs, and men and women seemed to enjoy the movie equally... But for me - the movie is all about Kevin James ('King of Queens'). James plays the average man (beer belly, insecure, etc) so well and with some much sarcasm.

Though there are plenty of great scenes between Smith (who plays Alex Hitchens - a ladies man and love doctor) and Eva Mendes - but Smith's interactions with Kevin James are priceless. James plays an insecure financial advisor who seeks guidance from Hitchens as he pursues Allegra Cole - a rich starlet. As James fumbles through words, dance moves, etc - the laughs start flowing.

The movie ends as you one would imagine - after all, everything ends perfectly in the romantic comedy world right? But you can't help but walking away with a smile and recounting some of the laughs during the movie.

The movie is decently written and certainly not award worthy... but Smith's and James enthusiasm and charisma is contagious and really makes the movie. If you are looking for a mindless time and a few laughs - try "Hitch."

I decided to buy this movie because it came out on television and I missed the ending. I thought of renting it from a video store but found it on ebay for way less then it i would have rented it. Now I can keep it! This is a very entertaining movie with no cussing or "bad" parts that children cannot veiw. Overall it is a great family movie. The actors in it, Will Smith and the guy from "King of Queens" make it a very entertaining movie!

I bought this movie because I wanted the widescreen version of Hitch. This movie was pretty funny and I especially liked the dance instruction scene. Buying DVD's is usually pretty safe on eBay because most people usually don't handle the DVD too much so they are in good condition (no finger prints). This seller was honest in saying that she would watch a movie once and not watch it anymore so she was selling alot of the movies.

The movie is super. Bought it for my husbands birthday. This movie is EXCELLENT and a wonderful addition to our collection of movies. Besides Will Smith being hot, he is so funny. This movie is really a chick flick but men totally get it too, with all the humor!

The master of love becomes a master of disaster in this terrific comedy for the entire family. Smooth, Calm and sophisticated Will Smith turns into a bumbling fool when it comes to his own love interests. But in fact itÂ’s Kevin James who makes this movie work to perfection as the to fat, too timid, and totally unrealistic when it comes to his own love interest. But all is well at the end of this film. The cast makes what on the surface seems like a crazy story line come alive before your eyes. This is truly eye candy for those who love visual comedy . . . I guess I must be one . . . I loved this movie

A movie that you can never be sick of... A romantic comedy that is both witty and charming... A must see for any movie connoisseur.

In my opinion, HITCH is an all around excellent movie. It was comical,had some dramatic scenes and some sad scenes. There was little to no violence and sex which is not easy to say about movies or tv shows that are made these days. From the first ten minutes you already know what you want to happen to the characters but the movie will keep you entranced to the screen because you want to know how it is going to happen because this movie is anything but predictable.

This movie in hilarious. Will Smith is awesome in it!! I laughed in it several times and cant wait to have this in my DVD collection.

Product arrive on time and in great condition. The DVD I purchased plays well without any stops. Came in its original casing with very little signs of wear.

I am a Will Smith fan. That having been said, I first viewed this movie at a bar with a bunch of guys who nearly fell off their stools at some of the comedic pranks featured. Definitely a feel good movie with a lot of laughs, I had to have this one for my library. I rate it with a popcorn and soda. Happy viewing.- K.P.

Love the movie can relate to Will allergy. Had the same thing to happen to me and my cousin reaction was just like it. LOL I'm cracking myself up writing just thinking about that scene. Thx for a great movie.

I found this to be an enjoyable film. It's always nice to find a movie that you can sit down and watch with your preteen kids. Hard to find family films that we can all sit through. Plus I love Kevin James and Will Smith so can't really go wrong!

Had previously seen this movie but everytime I watch it I always enjoy it. Movie keeps you laughing and is just an overall good movie. Highly recommend

I thought this was a funny movie. I laughed and really enjoyed it. I am a Will Smith fan and have enjoyed his movies and music. This is an excellent movie to buy.

This one is really close to be "the best 21st century movie about love". But we still have most of 21st century in front of us. Anyway - actors are good, most jokes are not plain, and neither final of story nor morale is obvious from the beginning. And what I love most - this movie has something for both - twelve and forty years old.

Will Smith shows ordinary guys what they are doing wrong and how to fix it in the manner of getting women.Kevin James is his newest ordinary slub.Must see to appreciate.Bring your woman with you to see this .It has Will Smith and he's funny.

Hitch is a Great movie! I have watched it several times & it still cracks me up. There are some very comical parts in this movie that will make you laugh over & over!! Has Great characters & story line. Its a keeper!!

Excellent condition, new. I would buy again from this seller. They were a little slower than most on mailing the package but not too bad. I sending them to my son in Iraq and I am sure he and other will enjoy!

I knew I saw Eva Mendes somewhere before her role in 'Ghost Rider' !!

Oh yeah, Will Smith is in this flick also!

I bought Hitch because it seemed like a funny movie and I absolutely love Will Smith!Not only was this movie funny, it was hilarious! Kevin James from "King of Queens" is also in it, and he's charming! The movie is about,Will Smith's character Hitch who is a matchmaker. He teaches guy's to get any girl in three dates. You'll have to buy the movie to see if he succeeds!

I love this movie, I could watch it over and over. I love the comedy and that the underdog gets the girl.
