Highway to Heaven - The Complete Season 1 (2005, DVD)

Very fun watching ! Me and my gal watch a show once every 4 days....and each show is impressive. I heard that Nancy and Ronald Regean watched the show faithfully.....I can see why. Landon is a very cool cat too !

this is a great family film , tear and laughter , great for all ages, michal landon is awesome as always, this is a must see , get it today for sure

What I liked about the dvd was that it was excellent condition and was packaged very well. I decided to buy it because I used to watch it on t.v. all the time. I'm also a fan of Michael Landon. I thought he was a good actor.I didn't realize that Highway to Heaven was even on dvd. If you used to watch it long ago and you loved the show I definetely recommend buying it.

Wow, we were really happy with this series. The setting is the early 80's, with themes somewhat similar to those in the "Touched by an Angel" series. Inspirational, real life situations are walked through in each episode. I especially have enjoyed the episode where the retirement home was going to be sold. The elderly are so lovable and fun. One other episode that stands out, is "Bless the Boys in Blue" about stress the police force face carrying out everyday duties. Kids affected by cancer face the future bravely, and love to have fun at camp in another episode.
We would highly recommend this series to anyone looking for good clean entertainment.

I allways enjoyed the TV SHOW ,AND HAD NOT SEEN DVDS AVAILABLE AT SUCH REASONABLE PRICES , COMPARED TO DVD CLUBS ,I PAID 7 OR 8 BUCKS ON EBAY AND THE SAME THING THRU COLUMBIA HOUSE WAS $35 TOTALY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE

We had three small children then and we all watched Highway to heaven..It was always full of moving experiences. We loved Michael Landon and his side kick.
I want my Grandchildren to have that same family filled experience we all had.

This was an exceptional buy. I really enjoyed these DVDs. He had a large selection to buy from. I did not find anything to dislike about this persons merchandice

I just started watching this series and I love it. It is good for adults as well as kids. Teaches good ethics, morales and about God and all the good he represents. It is entertaining so you will laugh, you may cry, but you come away with a good message. Those who believe in God will love it, and those who don't will want to start.

My husband and I love the clean 'family' viewing rating of this series and its uplifting focus on human interest and healthy values of helping our fellow man. Whenever there is nothing decent to watch on TV, we pop any one of the seven DVDs in and watch a single episode (which takes about 45 minutes without commercials. Fantastic!) We find the stories relevant to life and an encouraging pick-me-up whenever we need relief from the depressing onslaught of current-day TV fare. We get revived through a lighthearted chuckle, a tear, or even a fresh chance to revamp our priorities once again. Though some of the themes are not fully Biblically-based, we find it is acceptable Christian family entertainment that edifies the 'good' in mankind.

awesome if you iike good tv it will make you cry and laugh its what tv used to be made of good clean shows with out all the nudity lauage and tv ratings im buying up old shows to watch cause new tv aint worth a damn

I used to watch that show w/ my mother when I was younger, it's one of those quality moments that you never forget. My mother absolutely LOVES that show! The show wasn't aired on television anymore when Michael Landon passed away. We will be celebrating my mom's SURPRISE 60th Birthday this weekend. I am SO excited! This will be the perfect gift for her!!

Highway to Heaven is a very good TV program that was good for the family to watch. The themes were always meaningful and would make you thank about what you would do. You sometimes could feel great love, joy, and even spiritual peace. This is something great to have for church and family.

I love these Highway to Heaven DVD's because it's something the whole family can sit down and watch together. I bought it becasue of Michael Landon being the director,producer,writer and main star of the show. Everything Michael Landon did truned to gold. I wish there were more actor/directors like him. Great DVD set.

I bought this complete 1st season of Highway to Heaven because i love the show and micheal landon was a great actor. I like how it brings the real world feelings and actions to life, and it deals alot with people with real world illness like people with cancer, ms, alchollism, or just having a bad day. there is nothing that i dislike about my buy. and i am looking for the rest of the series.

I BOUGHT THIS DVD SET, BECAUSE I REALLY ENJOYED MICHAEL LANDON AND VICTOR FRENCH ON THE LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE SERIES, AND I KNEW I WOULD LOVE WATCHING THEM ON HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN. THIS IS A GREAT SERIES ALSO, CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH SEASON 2 NOW!

First of all, I was thrilled to learn that someone had captured the Highway To Heaven series on DVD, and I ordered the set immediately when I learned that it contained two very memorable Christmas shows. I watched both Christmas shows by myself and then with my granddaughter, and she loved them as much as I did, and wanted to watch more.

"They" just don't make t.v. shows like this anymore . . .

The quality of the product was excellent,and it was refreshing to watch something commercial-free for a change. Plus, the price was very reasonable, and the seller shipped very quickly - the DVDs arrived within days despite the fact that it was Christmastime!

I first saw Highway to Heaven on the TV Land channel and I liked it---alot. I grew up, slightly on, Little House on the Prarie and I just liked it, a little. I knew that Victor French was on that show as well, he was funny. My point being: I like both Michael Landon and Victor French On Highway to Heaven! I'm very pleased that this great series is on DVD in a Complete Season form, I only wish that A & E would release Seasons Four and Five (the final remaining Seasons) as well. Season Four contained 3 good episodes: Man's Best Friend, Parts One and Two and I Was A Middle Aged Werewolf. Some reviewers on Amazon.com Think that the episode I Was A Middle Aged Werewolf is one of Season Three's episodes, to my understanding this is not so! That episode is in Season Four! Now as far as the DVD Sets are concered, Seasons 1, 2 & 3 are Bulky! The reason being they've designed it so 7 Discs have 7 slim cases, I guess that is fine because that is how A & E does it. I'm hoping that the Episode Summaries are on the back of those Slim Cases, They proablly will be. The opening title is great also. I like the fact that Jonathan Smith (The Angel) can transform into different forms VIA his angelic powers!!! I LOVE the fact that the Seasons are jam-packed with episodes, up to 72 in all Three Seasons ----- YES! (There were Five Seasons and 111 episodes for the entire Series.) I doubt that A & E will Release the Two remaining Seasons (4 & 5), but you never know. It's a shame because they seemed like they were going to give us all the Seasons :(. Well, I've got to go!!!!!
I'm very thankful they decided to release at least Three Complete Seasons of the great Series.

I love Little house so decided to try Highway. Michael Landon makes such wholsome, heartwarming shows that I trusted this would be the same. I was not disappointed.

You watch a Michael Landon show, you know you are watching good clean entertainment! What happened to all of those classics! I'm collecting them now to let my children enjoy, and this was one of their favorites! I forgot how good it was, and how much it made me laugh! A MUST SEE!!!
