Pros:
One of the Beatles' most popular singles
Cons:
None
In 1968, the Beatles had settled into a life away from the concert stage. They still found time to make movies and records, but their personal lives also featured prominently in their music. That year, John Lennon divorced his first wife, Cynthia. Paul McCartney about the aftermath which was directed at John and Cynthia's son, Julian, who was just five years old at the time. The song was "Hey Jude," which has become one of the most acclaimed songs of the band's career. It spent nine weeks at the top of the US charts, making the single the Beatles' biggest in terms of chart success. It was, at.

Pros:
Great lyrics, wonderful performance by the Lads from Liverpool
Cons:

Hey Jude, don't make it bad Take a sad song and make it better... When I was 17 years old, I didn't like rock music too much. I'm not sure why; it wasn't forbidden or frowned upon by my mom, but for some reason I've always preferred melody driven music, whether it is classical, film scores, easy listening (what most of my friends derisively called "old people's music"), or soft jazz and Big Band swing. Yes, I did like a few popular songs of the 1970s and '80s; I remember singing along to Barry Manilow's "I Write the Songs" and Tony Orlando

Pros:
Two great, very different songs
Cons:
None for me
The Beatles. If you don t know them, you ve been living under a rock. The fab four, consisting of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, showered the world with wonderful music all throughout the 60s and 70s. Their songs were just irresistible, and their talent caused the world to be swept by Beatlemania , which was a very accurate way to describe the extremity of their popularity. 6 years after the Beatles burst onto the music scene with Love Me Do, they crafted one of their most successful songs ever: Hey Jude. The beginning piano lets you know that it is going to be.

"And It Was All Gorgeousness And Gorgeousity"

Pros:
The first true rock 'n roll anthem, masterful production
Cons:
It finally ends
I pinched the title of this review from the film, A Clockwork Orange, which was Stanley Kubrick's interpretation of the wonderful novel of the same name written by Anthony Burgess. These words were used by Alex, Burgess' anti-hero, to describe the music of Ludwig von Beethoven. The same words can be used to describe the airs of Hey Jude, one of the most famous songs ever recorded by the Beatles. The story is that Paul McCartney wrote the song as a sort of "pep talk" to Julian Lennon, John's son, who was experiencing some confusion and emotional problems as a result of the divorce of his...

Let it under your skin

Pros:
Meaningful lyrics, great ballad
Cons:
none
Recently I had an epiphany: after 21 years of debating over which Beatles song is my favorite, I have firmly decided on "Hey Jude." I am fanatically devoted to the Beatles and each of their songs, so this decision means a lot. "Hey Jude" is so great because it has levels. Paul wrote the song for Julian, Beatle John's son, in an attempt to help him accept Yoko Ono as his new stepmother. How sweet of Paul to look after Julian at a time when John probably wasn't available. Knowing this about the song makes the lyrics, "remember to let her into your heart, then you can start to make it better"...
