This is a great printer I highly recommend it. I already have the wired printer of the same model that I purchased for over 100$, but my son broke the LCD monitor on it, so I bought this one because for the price and plus it is wireless it was quite the bargain.
It is the best printer I have ever had. Bought it because the price was great. Its fast and user friendly buy it why it last I have owned alot of printers that I bought new for three times the money that are not even close to this printer. fast ship Thank you you guys are the best
I has a few minor setup problems, but over the quality of the printer is excellent. I am most happy about only having to change an individual inks ($9.95) instead of a whole cartridge ($17.95 - $27.95)
Nice machine. Compact and somewhat easy to use. Great that it is wireless and has the ability to work without a computer. Can use directly from camera or memory card. Would recommend this machine to anyone who wants to print there own pictures.
This printer has many uses and features that we were not expecting. The printer uses many different ink colors that will allow you to get better detail in you pictures. Also it prints regular documents quite fast. Plus the ability to print wireless from my laptop is great.
it works great and i love how quickly it prints. i am partial to HP brand equipment because i have never had problems out of it. i am 100% satisfied with my purchase. some printers may come without the initial start up ink required for initial start up but i was easily able to find this at walmart. the initial start up ink is more concentrated and is needed when you first use a printer
it works flawlessly, and the ink is cheaper than my other two printers! It's Great! I checked on ZD Net and it is one of the top rated printers available. I had to bid on over a dozen printers to get it at such a low price. The seller shipped immediately and it hoooked up in 15 minutes. I was surprized!
This was a great purchase. The printer is easy to set up, prints amazing picutres and texts. The ink was pretty cheap to, it cost me 47.00 for a round of ink in this printer. There is no need for wires, I can plug it in and print whenever or where I am. I love it!
I want every one to know that DO NOT buy this printer with out ink. This printer needs the ink it comes with in order to initialize and work properly. If you buy ink at the store and install it on the printer it WILL NOT work. I called HP tech support, and it was explained that the ink formula in the ink that comes with the printer has a different formula and is more concentrated than the ink you buy at the store. this ink has to be run through the heads before regular ink could be used. you can get this from HP but will take some time. So beware of cheap prices and make sure it brings ink cartridges.
The wireless capability is wonderful. I can use my laptop anywhere in the house and print without having to be connected to it with wires. The print quality is also the best I have seen.
As described and would highly recommend!! Ebay A+++++++++++. As described and would highly recommend!! Ebay A+++++++++++. As described and would highly recommend!! Ebay A+++++++++++
I am very happy with the D7460 printer. I bought the printer originally for the separate color ink cartridges and wireless capabilities. Replacing the separate ink cartridges as they run out is a big plus. With the rising cost of ink cartridges, it's very beneficial to replace the ink color as needed. The pictures come out great. The viewfinder screen is big and the touchscreen saves all the space which would be filled with complicated buttons on the printer. For home enthusiasts who scrapbook or craft, this is a wonderful printer.
I purchased this printer because it was advertised as being wireless. This was important because of the number of computers in my home. As it turned out, I connected via cable to the router instead, but, this also allowed all of the computers access to a single printer. The printer is fast, the price was excellent, the color is very accurate, and I can place the printer it out of the way.
Previous good luck with HP Printers I have had several HP Printers ( Officejet, Deskjet & Photosmart ) This one is poorest quality & most difficult to setup. Ink consumption poor & to make things worst, cartridges are small. HP cust service inadequate.
Can't figure out how to set up the wireless portion of the printer but am not that computer savy either. Over all, the printer is GREAT and would hope anyone who wishes to buy a printer for photo's consider this HP. Coudn't have asked for a better printer, it's always an HP for me!

Pros: Fantastic speed and quality - 6 ink tank system...
Cons: A bit more investment initially should pay off in the long run...
A million and one printers... I've had great luck with HP printers. From way back the days of the original "Deskjet 500" to the birth of the "Laserjet II", HP has always been a market leader. So, when my older HP printer ran out of ink, I decided to look at what was new on the market for inkjet printers. Wow, was that the wrong isle to walk down at my local superstore... there must have been 50 printers... Narrowing it down First of all, I already own a great scanner - a scanner that does film. There are a great deal of multi-function printers that include scanners and fax functionality....

Pros: Easy set up - great photos
Cons: I can not think of one con
I wanted to find a printer that I can be used for everyday printing but also print great photos on. I did some research on line at different web sites and went to Best Buy and Staples to see the printers in person. It is hard to pick something if you can not physically touch, see and feel it. I really like the HP D7460 after seeing it in the store and wanted to shop around for a good price. I happened to hit a good deal on Amazon and picked up this printer for $45 with free shipping. It originally said shipping time would be almost two weeks so I was amazed that my printer showed up 3 days...
Pros: Built-in wireless capabilities; computer-free photo printing with dedicated 4x6 photo paper tray
Cons: Doesn't handle thick photo paper; only prints black when 1 color cartridge is empty
The more I use HP printers, the more loyal I become. I've always viewed printers as somewhat disposable, because you can buy a basic printer with starter inks for about the same price as genuine HP replacement inks. But I managed to get 4 years of use from my existing deskjet and I only looked to replace it when I wanted to add a printer to my wireless home network. I was apalled at the price for an adapter for my existing deskjet printer! I found this Photosmart D7460 as a demo model. It didn't have a price on it, so I had plenty of time to study its features while the salesperson looked up..

Photosmart D7460 v- HP You have Software Problems
Review created: 07/07/08

Pros: Great printer for photos and documents.
Cons: Wireless software is unstable.
The is a great color printer for documents and photos...when it works. I found serious communication and disconnect problems with the HP software in wireless mode. These problems persisted on three different home computers and two operating systems, Windows XP and Vista. I am spending more time reloading HP driver software and printing "Test Pages" than I am doing serious computer and photo printing. I have a wireless network and CA security software. Maybe these are the issues with HP's wireless printer mode, but no matter I think it is HP's responsibility to write software that is user...

Pros: Great print quality, & fast. Easy to use, paper loads from front.
Cons: Need to use HP Premium photo paper for best results.
Initially very pleased with the look of this printer. Very easy set-up, was printing in no time. The touch-screen is a nice feature, which give the front of the printer a clean, unclutter look, having only 3 control buttons. Print quality was excellent, as good or better than photo lab prints. I like being able to print photo directly from camera memory card without having to use the computer. Printer is extremely user friendly.
