Poorest design of any HP printer for loading paper. It started jamming the 1st month I bought it. the only reason I did nothing regarding the warranty is the total cost with the rebate was $17.00, it wasn't worth the hassle. stay away, and don't even think of buying a Lexmark! they should be banned from stores.

I got a this printer as a Christmas present. I loved it and have bought more of them to give as gifts. You can print 4x6 pictures without a computer. Just insert your memory card and select the pics you want to print. You can take it anywhere and just plug it in and you are ready to print. My sister tooks hers to the hospital when she had a baby and we were able to print pictures of her baby minutes after he was born.

This ink-jet printer really prints wonderful photos. That's what i bought it to do and have been very happy with it this way. But it can be very aggravating in use. First of all it cannot just pick up one sheet of paper from a number of them. It may succeed in doing that once or twice but it will get you on the third if it hasn't before then. I have learned to put in one sheet at a time - only. Or it will print part on one sheet and part on another. Then, if something interrupts, or you don't get another sheet in on time and it stops, it has no patience but in two or three seconds shut down..

THIS IS BY FAR AND AWAY THE WORST PRINTER I HAVE OWNED. I'LL BE QUICK B/C I COULD RANT FOR AT LEAST 3 PAGES. 1) CANNOT HANDLE PAPER. TOOK ME 12 TRIES FOR 1 SHEET! EVERY TIME YOU PRINT YOU HAVE TROUBLE. EITHER IT TAKES ALL THE PAPER OR NONE. EVERY TIME!! 2) SLOWER THAN WRITING BY HAND. IT TAKES ON AVERAGE FOR ONE BLACK AND WHITE COPY 2-3 MINUTES JUST TO PRINT. 3) NOISY...NEVER HAD A PRINTER BESIDES A DOT MATRIX THAT WAS SO LOUD. 4) LAST PRINTER I HAD LIKE THIS TURNED UGLY AFTER HAVING IT FOR 8 YEARS. SO I TOOK IT OUT TO RANGE AND BLEW IT UP WITH A SHOTGUN!!! VERY THERAPEUTIC!!
