Hewlett Packard LaserJet 4200tn Printer

We were looking for a fast printer with at least 2 paper feeders and networking capability. We ended up with the HP laserjet 4200n that fits our needs in the accounting department. And we ended up purchasing 2 of them, both identical. They have been working excellent so far and we have found no negatives about them. They are fast...at least 33-35 ppm and have fit in excellent within our scope of work. The printers may be an overkill but it's better than getting one less efficient and slower in speed. An excellent product and we are very pleased with there purchase.

Great printer and very easy to set up to print on LAN, and we have seen HP printers keep on working for a long time.

These printers just don't wear out. Super fast with large amount of pages. HP help line service was fast, and shipped me a part that was damaged at no cost and received it the next day. Backward compatiable with previous laserjets.

I bought a heavy duty printer on ebay for less than a cheapo printer. I suggest you try as if you don't buy the top of the line newest printer you may save a bundle. The older printers (mine was the previous model) are still fine and supported. I bought mine with 2 year guarantee for $200 delivered with duplexer. new price is about $1200 - $1400 with one year guarantee... try it you will be surprised!

Product was in good shape and was shipped fast. Didn't get a chance to use it well enough but everything seems to work just fine.I would buy from provider again.

HP 4200n which I recently bought is a very fine working printer which puts out pages at great speed. It comes in several versions, 4200,4200n, 4200tn. It has a parallel, apple, and network interface connections for your computer or network. This series of HP laser Printers I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a really good inexpensive laser printer that may well last for their lifetime. It prints an excellent quality output and offers 300, 600, and 1200 dpi output. HP makes, in my experience, the best monochrome laser printers currently available. The only consideration is who you buy from should be honest, have integrity, and deliver a solid working product.

I bought this printer used off ebay to deploy in about a 10 user department. We go through 500 sheets a day on this printer and it's been great. I also added the 1500 sheet capacity drawer so we don't have to reload as often.
The start up time is quick, it's very quiet and we've had no issues with jamming or anything. So far it's been a month and I have nothing negative to say, except when I added this machine onto our maintenance contract it was about double what the old one was.
Before this machine we had a HP LJ 2300DTN which also performed well, the only difference is the speed and paper capacity. We upgraded because we needed another printer anyway. So I bought the 4200 to replace the 2300 and used the 2300 in the new spot. All in all the 4200 is an excellent machine and a true workgroup workhorse. I would highly recommend it for anyone with high volume printing.
