This all in one printer gives you the ability to get your scan, fax, print jobs done over your home or office network. However, from my past experience with this AiO, I have found that it sometimes gives you the risk of having your document lost during the printing process. Also, according to the HP technical support, plugging both the network cable and the USB cable at the same thing could result in damage in the formatter of the printer. Therefore, I suggest you to use the USB connection of the printer ONLY to scan and print documents. Other than that problem, the AiO is perfect for both the home and office users!

LJ 3300 Series AIO with Top-Mount scannerThe printer is great, but if it comes with the overhead scanner, it can be troublesome after a period of time.
If the scanner bulb burns out (worth a few dollars only) you must replace the whole scanner assembly, costing hundreds of dollars. HP refuses to sell only the bulb.
Stay away. I would not buy for my own use.

I have had no end of trouble from this terrible product. We have had LJ3330 and LJ3380 AIO's in the office, so I thought I knew what I was getting, but this thing just doesn't work at all. The software is the biggest problem, I think, they have added huge amounts of bloatware to the install, which left my processor use pinned at 100%. The scans were extremely blurry and faint, pretty much unusable for the two months it worked. Then the ADF failed and started misfeeding. After a lot of wasted time on the phone with their very unhelpful tech support, we got a replacement sent out, but it would..

After great service from previous HP printers, bought the 3390 a couple of months ago. No regrets. Recommend it without hesitation.
