Hewlett Packard LaserJet 1160 Printer

I find this Laser printer to be easy to use. It takes a great toner cartridge. An HP Q5949A. Quality printing, especially for an older model printer.

printer works great, starts printing quickly. Package did not include CD-ROM but all necessary software can be downloaded from Hewlett Packard with little cost and effort. Ideal for a backup printer for an office or at home printer.

I purchased the HP1160 after reading online that a laser printer is much cheaper to operate than an inkjet printer. I found a rconditioned one online for about $75 so I gave it a shot. The good things are the prints come out really fast compared to inkjet, and I would have to buy a truckload of expensive inkjet cartridges to outlast one laser toner cartridge. The only negative so far is the lack of color.
