Heroes - Season 2 (2008, DVD)

New Heroes watcher. got seasons 1 and 2 to "catch up." Excellent service/response time on getting purchases. New in box. Glad to do business the eBay way!!!!

I was happy to purchase online and to save myself a trip to the store, or pay store prices for that matter. Also, it shipped the next day and was perfect when it got here--factory-sealed and everything.

I loved the whole first season so I HAD to get the second one! and it was available for purchase before it even aired on television so.. I couldnt wait! its great enough to own... very unique... I dont think these types of series come around too often..it was about time! a good sci fi show... not just about "drama" revolving around relationships boringgg.... although there is a little romance in there here and there to keep it fun and well rounded, realistic... real people.. who have extraordinary powers andhowthey handle it., well rounded...mostly action/adventure/sci-fi. You Gotta Get it!.. Can be gruesome at times(Sylar)... can also be so cute... (Hiro)

This series is very addictive and this dvd was excellent.I found the characters in his show very different and appealing. Each actor brings a strong personality to the series.

I love everything about this fantastic show. From the first show, first season, to the last show of the 2nd season, there is not a boring part in it.
I would recommend that you watch it from the start of the 1st season as it is easier to understand who the characters are and what they can do and how they fit in. I now have both seasons and after watching the first two shows of the third season, I can't wait for the 3rd season to come on dvd.
This second season is shortened because of the writer's strike, but in the 11 shows, it sure was full of the drama and excitement that has lead this show to top out on NBC.
Looking forward to an exciting 3rd season!!

Heroes is by far my favorite tv show, and season 2 did not disappoint. This DVD set is a must buy for any Heroes fan.

We had the Season 1 DVD and wanted to continue watching the show to get updated before the Season 3 starts next week. Season 2 builds on the first season and a few new characters are added. The show added a different twist from last season in the form of the villain and it was great, but I wish the strike wouldn't have shortened the season.

This is a truly epic series, and is hooks you deep from start to finish. We ended up watching the entire second season in 1 sitting! haha We just couldnt control myself.

As we are here in Germany a bit after time of releasing the translated version, I bought the US/UK-version. I don't regret it as I listened to the first season in English, too. The hardest thing on this season is to stop from watching !!! It's so exciting that you want to see the single series all in all. Highly recommended.

Truncated to a slim 11 episodes as a result of the writers’ strike that was ongoing in America during its production, Heroes’ second season nonetheless packs enough in to keep the momentum rolling on one of the most exciting Stateside shows of the moment.

Heroes is, at heart, the comic book tale of a varied group of people, each with special powers that they struggle to come to terms with. With such powers, of course, come troubling foes and situations to face, and that proves to be the case here. So this time, we pick up four months after the events of the first series, and there’s the small matter of the Shanti virus to contend with. This provides the main thrust for the series’ story arc, and allows room for several interesting sub-plots to develop too.

Yet while, in the world of Heroes, you suspect that this second series will never rank with the best, there’s easily enough here to justify the asking price, and the show emerges easily with its reputation intact. Even when it’s not at the top of its game, Heroes is exciting, interesting and polished entertainment.

i loved heroes season 2. it picks off from the first season and has the same excitement as the first season. i would recommend this dvd set to anybody. its always action packed and keeps you guessing.

Heroes Season 2 is finally out on D.V.D. If you are reading this you already know what the show is about, so I won't waste your time with that. I am letting you know the following: There is an alternate ending and they (the creators) go on to tell you about the other 12 episodes that were planned, but cut short by the writers strike. Just seeing that stuff is well worth the price of admission.

Thsi tiem is one of a kind. For every Heroes fan, this is a must buy. Without, this specific DVD set, you are not a TRUE Heroes fan. This is the Collector's Edition of Season 2 of Heroes and it is truly one of a kind. It has a special 5th Disk which includes the Bonus Footage of the Heroes cast touring around the world well known as Heroes World Tour, where they visit several countries to promote their TV series. It is a great addition and even though Season 2 was cut short, this is truly a must have item.

Of course I'm looking forward to the new season on TV! Having the complete last season to watch prior to the start of this new season is great! Super good timing on the release of season 2, and the seller countrygirlsunited(236 positive feedback) did it right!
