Hello, Dolly! (2003, DVD)

Barbra Streisand at her best! The music is absolutely fabulous, and Ms. Streisand's performance stunning. Walter Matthau is no singer, but also gave an excellent performance with his Rex Harrison style singing. Great cast. One of my favorite musicals of all time!!

I love the fact that I could get this movie, being that it was over 40 years ago that I have seen this movie in grade school.

Buy it if you like musicals. This also has Michael Crawford (Phantom of the Opera) at a young age. It is a funny and very light-hearted movie. This is good clean movie that even little children can enjoy.

I bought it because our local community theater is doing the show this summer and I like to get a feel for the show ahead of time.

I really enjoyed the singing and dancing in this production. I love the old fashioned boy meets girl story line. I enjoyed Dolly's manipulation of Horace until she got that proposal she wanted, but everyone is happy in the end. There is no bad language and no sexual exhibitions to suffer through. There are a few VERY mild innuendos that fly by, but they did not affect my enjoyment of the show. I will watch it again and recommend it to anyone.

I still have not received this DVD and have reported that to PayPal. Perhaps the mail service lost it during the Christmas rush - who knows. I still would like to have the DVD.

I watched the movie as a child and wanted to get it for my movie library. This is one of those movies you can watch every year and still enjoy it! So glad I made this purchase!

I love this DVD...looked for a long time before I found yours. Excellent movie. Watched it the day it came.

Some of picture was filmed in my home town.Music was great.Barbara always does a great job singing and Michael Crawford could not belive it was him until he started singing and the great Louis Armstrong can any one say more.

I really enjoy musicals. This ones has great songs and and a good tempo music wise and a nice pace to the movie, seems to really hold your interest. I think this is one of the best movies Barbra Streisand has done. Have been wanting to have a copy so would be able to watch it whenever I wanted. Was very please how quickly I received the movie, ordered it on a Thursday and had it the following Monday.

I LOVE WATCHING BARBARA STREISAND SING,DANCE AND ACT. SHE IS A POWERHOUSE OF TALENT AND MAKES THIS MOVIE SO WONDERFUL. I LOVE THE STORY LINE FOR THIS AS IT IS MULTIFACETED AND WELL RESEARCHED HISTORICALLY.
I WISH I WOULD HAVE RECEIVED IT. I PAID FOR IT AND NEVER RECEIVED IT. WHEN I TRIED TO CONTACT THE SALER, I WAS TOLD THEY NO LONGER EXISTED AND COULD NOT CONTACT SO I AM HOPING THEY WILL SEE THIS AND SEND ME THE MOVIE I PAID FOR.

My daughter is trying out for the high school spring musical which will be Hello Dolly. We thought it would be a good idea to get the DVD so that she can become familiar with the story and songs.
The DVD was new in its origional package and delivered in a very timely manner.

I bought this DVD because my daughter is a Broadway junkie and this happens to be one of her favorites. If you are into musicals, I would highly recommend this one. It is full of dancing, music, and fun. Barbara Streisand plays an amazing character who shows several ways to go after what you want in life & succeed while doing it.
