Well, they said when the band broke up, that Hell would freeze over before their return.. So that happened.. I might add, in spite of Al's Global warming rubbish.. The Eagles are back!! AND>> From the start they go with you right to the top of their hits.. The years have changed some voices and tempered some attitudes.. The music is fine and well worth spending a few $$ on this one..

This CD is awesome. It is LIKE a greatest hits album. But it is done with a little bit of a different twist than what you hear on the prior albums. This all acoustical jam is simply incredible! If you are anything of an Eagles fan this CD is a must. The sweet harmonies and vocals mixed in with stellar acoustics really make this CD worth owning. It is very nice and relaxing. It would be great for a nice romantic candle lit dinner. These guys haven't lost their touch. They know how to rock when it is time to rock. And they can still leave you with the peaceful easy feeling you come to expect from the Eagles. You WILL NOT be dissapointed. Michael.

eagles cdgreat cd i had this years ago and i just disappeared. also fast shipping from the seller. got in like 3 days. not much to write about this cd cause most people probably own it or have listened to it. i was satisfied with the sellers shipping and it was packaged great.

greatWith the four new songs as studio tracks replacing the four new live from the concert this cd has a sparkle of new to something that was supposed to be long gone. What better way to wake up country & rock with a slap saying, "This is how it should be done!" This cd is recomended to everyone who wants to be in touch with real music!

I owned the VHS version of this and found it outstanding. I am now looking to find the DVD. But back to Hell, i loved this CD, but I'm an Eagles finatic. I think they are the bast vocal group to come out of the 70's and continue to dominate the concert industry. I know since the new CD come out they have only played over sea's and soon will be in Georgia. But this album cooks and warms up with the string orchestra.

I actually purchased this for greg for his birthday. He loves the Eagles and we were only able to get a good price on the dvd thru Hastings and it took like 2 months to get it. I was cruising thru half.com and spotted the cd and jumped on it. He is thrilled with it and keeps it in his work truck and takes it out on jobs with him. I highly recommend half.com, you dont have to worry about bidding on it.

This was the get together album that was not suppose to happen. It is great. It features so old hits and some older hits. They still sound wonderful together and hope they do many more albums together.

I thought the CD I bought could have had less scratches on it & been in better shape, next time I will buy new though........the CD has a ton of great songs on it....I bought it for the songs.

I like this cd, I was very unhappy with the seller who sold it to me. I decided to buy it for the song "Desperado". It is a song that reminds me of my Uncle who had a really hard life and has passed away.

I love the eagles and this is one of their best albums in my opinion. I will have to buy another one because I have used mine so much that it is all scratched and stuff. It has a good selection of songs on it. The cd insert thingy even has the words! gotta love that.

Well, I think the only Grateful Dead song I actually know is "Shades of Gray," having now learned "Peaceful Easy Feeling" (which is NOT "Peace Corp. Easy Feeling") was, in fact, a song by The Eagles. I open my review of "Hell Freezes Over" this way because this album means different things to different people. I imagine to fans of The Eagles, who were told repeatedly by Don Henley that the band would reunite when hell froze over (hence the album title), that this is a long awaited reconciliation between friends. For those who are not invested in the history of The Eagles, "Hell Freezes Over".

For those of you who aren't sure who The Eagles are let me just explain. They are probably more well known for their hit single Hotel California which was released way back in 1976, way before my time I might add. They're an American group and can fill the biggest of stadiums like the best of them. I've not counted all their albums but i'd say there's around a dozen of them, they've been around decades and in that time become one of the biggest sellers out of the music world. The Eagles music doesn't tend to stick to just one style instead prefering to take influences from a range of music...
