I liked the CD because of the artist. I ordered Heart Shaped world because my favorite song is Unbreakable Heart. I liked the idea that it was so cheap, even if it was a promotional CD. I wish I could find more titles that I like under $3.00.

Jessica Lives In A Heart Shaped World, And I'm Ready To Take A Trip

Pros:
Incredible voice; Great songs; Good mixture of country and pop (heavier on the country)

Cons:
Some may think some of the songs are a little "fluffy"

What can I say about Jessica Andrews? Only that she is one of the most talented and promising young singers out there. Her lyrics speak to the heart, and she pours her soul into what she sings - even if she didn't write the song, as with every song on her first album, Heart Shaped World. The first song is a great up-tempo song about a first love, "James Dean In Tennessee." The girl in the song thinks that her ex-boyfriend was like a movie star. He tried to smoke cigarettes and he wanted to drive a fancy car. The boy was a little bit of a rebel ("I left there a year ago/And I heard the rebel...

You Can Go First With your Hungary Love for this Heart Shaped World!

Pros:
Great Voice, great passion for singing, and all around fun

Cons:
WAY too many love songs

Jessica Andrews is a 16 year old country singer that broke into the country scene in 1998. She is probably best known for the song "I Will Be There For You" from the Prince of Egypt Nashville Soundtrack. Her first album came out in 1999 after the Prince of Egypt Soundtrack came out in 1998. The debut album is entitled "Heart Shaped World." 1- James Dean in Tennessee- This song is very fun to listen to because it just makes you get up and dance. She sounds like she is having fun singing it and that is the best kind of music. It just reminds me of a let your "hair down" song like Faith Hill's...

Angelic voice in a cute package...

Pros:
Jessica's voice, Strong writing and arrangements...

Cons:
Not all songs were engaging

I am not one to listen to the virtual explosion of teenaged me-too artists (?), which have hit the music scene of late. But occasionally a talent, a voice catches my ear and gives me pause. A voice so crisp and clear, so sweet and vibrant that it begs to be listened to. Such a voice belongs to Jessica Andrews, the sixteen years old, brown haired siren from Huntingdon, TN whom I first heard sing on the Prince of Egypt soundtrack when she was but 15 years old. That track, I will be there for You, pre-dated the release of Jessica s first album, Heart Shaped World on the DreamWorks label in the...

I BOUGHT THE CD FOR ONE SONG!
Review created: 11/23/00
by: calwaone -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
So Full Of Emotion, Such A Clear, Vulnerable Sounding Voice!

Cons:
Beware of Tears!

I confess it is true, I bought the entire CD to be able to put one song that is on it on my juke box, at home. Unbreakable Heart is just such a beautifully sung song on the Heart Shaped World, that I just had to have it whenever I wanted to hear it! Isn't it just so true? God made everything, but unbreakable hearts! If you've ever had one, you know why it is such a heart wrenching idea. The idea of asking, even if only to yourself, "Did you think I had an unbreakable heart?" to the person who hurt you so deeply. . .it just seems so natural. It does seem that a lot of people believe that...

  Jessica Andrews

Pros:
Refreshing, relating to life.

Cons:
Cost??? I honestly can find none.

Jessica Andrews- Heart Shaped World I think Jessica Andrews has a wonderful, clear, strong, and powerful voice. She is a very brilliant young teenager with great singing skills. Being a teenager herself, she is able to sing and relate to the songs very well, and is able to sing most convincingly, in particular the one song "Do you want a kiss?." I imagine every young person, both male and female alike can relate to this. I like her personality in real life, as well as on stage. She is very refreshing as well. I strongly encourage you to listen to this album, as well as one of her songs on.
