HARVEST MOON: MORE FRIENDS OF MINERAL TOWN for the Game Boy Advance, published by Natsume, is strikingly similar to the original game on the console. The difference is entirely to be found within the main character that the player controls. In the original, players got to experience farm life through a young boy; this time, players get to work through the game as a girl. This role playing game has players buying a rundown farm and trying to restore it to a properly working farm while at the same time interacting with the local villagers, dating various suitors, getting married, and having children. As one might expect, planting and harvesting plants is an essential function to master if the players hope to make their character grow. As players move through the game, they will discover that for every ten seconds they spend working on the farm, ten minutes of work time has passed. However, players do not lose any valuable work time for going into Mineral Town or playing one of the available mini games. This time adjustment allows players to work their way through daily farming sessions at the pace they choose. HARVEST MOON: MORE FRIENDS OF MINERAL TOWN is perfect for gamers who are looking for a RPG outside of the traditional sphere of games. Its portable format provides for easy accessibility and pick-up games when players find the need to immerse themselves in the world of Mineral Town.

I am still playing this game. I come from a really small town so ebay is the only place I can get video games which aren't super popular. I really like it.

I bought this game mainly so I could interact with the Mineral Town characters in the DS game, Harvest Moon Cute. I haven't actually played the game that much, since it's hard to get used to the controls, which feel awkward, and the load time between areas is painfully slow. Additionally the backpack feature is reverted to the one used in the NG6 and PS1 versions, where you start out with a pack that only holds three items and three tools, which makes gathering nearly impossible. The town is HUGE so it takes me several days just to get a few things done. I'm not too big on the gameplay and I really wish you could go IN to Mineral Town when using the DS version of this, but it is nice to be able to see my favourite Mineral Town characters in the Valley. Overall I'd rather play the DS version; the graphics are a lot better and gameplay is a whole lot smoother, and easier to navigate. The gameplay of the N64 and PS1 games just don't translate well to a handheld system; you really need the controllers and the big screen for the full effects of this particular style of gameplay. The DS version handles way better.

Love the game!This game is by far a much better game than any other that I have played recently. It has a better story line and cast of characters than many other G rated games. I can sit and play it for hours and not get bored.

My 10 year old daughter was looking for more Harvest Moon games and discovered this older GBA version; More Friends of Mineral Town. She likes this just as much as Harvest Moon DS and appreciates that the lead character is a girl.

Anyone who is a fan of the series Harvest Moon will love it. Especially if you are a girl! Having to care for your farm and animals might seem a little trying and boring but it has an exceptional story line that comes with all Harvest Moon games! Lets not forget trying to charm the local boys to get a husband so that the story line can continue with a little bundle of joy!

I actually got the Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town to play with my current Harvest Moon Cute DS which allows more of the characters to come and visit. So not only did I get it to enhance my current Harvest Moon Game but I am also having fun just playing with this one.

I like how fast I recieved the item. It was exactly what I ordered. The game is
exactly what my daughter wanted. The description was accurate as it could be. The seller was very clear about the shipping of the item. I really appreciate the fact that it was shipped as soon as I paid for the item.

The only thing I really like about it is that you can put it in the bottom slot of your nintendo DS and play harvest moon DS or harvest moon cute DS with it. All the Harvest moon games are the same though, they are all just remakes of the N64 version (Which is the best version ever made).
I guess it's cool that you can be a girl, but if your just buying this game to play on the game boy advance, I would suggest just buying a Nintendo DS and getting Harvest moon cute. It's such an awesome game.

i love this game because its an adventure that never seems to end. you can raise a family and money, as well as keep up with farm animals. attend festivals, and earn the trust of the harvest sprites. this ia a great game for all ages!

This is a very nice farming game. Easy to play. Very enjoyable. Definitely will try out this game for demo. Good to play before sleeping :) or during free time at work. Just take the game out and play some farming. hahaha funny

I like Harvest Moon on P2 so I decided to try this one. I love it. To me, it is even more fun that the P2 one I have because it is much easier to ship the items, make money and navigate the map. I recommend it to any Harvest Moon fan.

This is the best game for my 10 year old girl. She can play it for hours on end and loves it for the Game Boy.

My children love this game. They enjoy working to save up enough to buy and watch their animals/materials grow.

I played this to the end and it was so much fun! I enjoyed the fact that I could be a girl character and that I could change outfits!

Very similar to Friends of Mineral Town, but with a few variations.

Just to summarize, your character will be able to: harvest crops, play with a pet dog, milk the cows, sheer the sheep's wool, get eggs from chickens and make lots of friends out in town.

Also: pursue a husband, get married & have a baby, learn to cook, explore the caves, mine for gold & gems, go fishing, attend church, visit people's houses, befriend the Harvest Sprites and take part in all the Festivals & Holidays, which are mini competitions to win valuable prizes!

All in all a very cute game and lasts a good long time!!!

I love this game! It's really addicting. I can't get enough of it. I think I got a great deal on the game. I'm going to buy harvest moon:freinds of mineral town. The gameboy advance version is better than the version for ps2. It's easier to understnad and a lot quicker to play. The game is exciting. I highly reccomend people who like sumulation games to buy it

Great game for girls, this game plays as a girl. Lots of long term fun end goal buy farm and manage it, then marry and have kids.

My daughter wanted this game because she likes these games. I like them because they are not violent games.

This game has lots to offer. Earn and build your farm. Do you like SIMS? You might like this game. The farm is what you make it and so are the other people. My 11 year old daughter and I (35 year old child) love this game.

I bought this game because I own Gamecube Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life, and you can do more with the game if you connect Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town to it with a GBA and link cable. Or you can play it seperately. I like that about it. It's good for fun and learning responsibility values. I don't dislike much about it!

If you like Harvest moon, but your a girl, then get this game.

It's really fun. You'll Love it. It just like the orgional one for boys, but for girls.
