I BOUGHT THIS ITEM BECAUSE MY NEPHEW REQUESTED IT FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. THIS WAS MY FIRST E-BAY PURCHASE EVER. WHEN HE RECIEVED HIS BIRTHDAY GIFT IT WAS SCRATCHED SO TERRIBLY THAT IT WOULDN'T EVEN GO TO MAIN SCREEN. WE SENT THE GAME BACK AT THE SELLERS REQUEST TO GET A REPLACEMENT ,HOWEVER,THEY CLAIMED THEY NEVER DID RECIEVED IT .I NOW UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THESE REVIEWS AND KNOW TO READ THEM BEFORE CHOOSING WHO I TRUST ON E-BAY.I LOST 30.00....MY NEPHEW LOST HIS HOPE FOR THE GAME ...

Halo 2, the long-awaited sequel to one of the most widely praised, most influential first-person shooters ever created, has a very tough act to follow. Fortunately, it's built on a foundation that's as strong as they come. The game's success was preordained--publisher Microsoft tallied more than 1.5 million Halo 2 preorders in the weeks leading up to the game's release, which demonstrates just how confident Halo's fans are in the sequel's quality. But how is it, really? The good news is, the sequel to the Xbox's defining action game is an absolutely superb, fully featured game, boasting an excellent presentation, a highly replayable campaign, and the greatest, most complete online multiplayer component in a console shooter yet. A surprisingly disappointing story and a fairly short single-player portion are noticeable shortcomings, but there's just so much breadth of content in Halo 2, and the action itself is so outstanding, that there can be no denying its quality. Overall, it's one of the very best action games available.

There are several reasons why the original Halo ranks up there with a very small number of other first-person shooters as one of the definitive games in the genre. For one thing, Halo succeeded at establishing a cohesive, memorable, and original science-fiction universe. For another, the Master Chief, Halo's cybernetic protagonist, made a great hero. A fearless, enigmatic man, the Chief could succeed where pure flesh-and-blood humans could not, and guiding him to victory against the alien menace known as the Covenant, as well as the parasitic creatures called the Flood, made for a gripping story and an intense and satisfying gameplay experience.

Halo's gameplay was amazing in that it seamlessly integrated top-notch first-person shooting with incredibly fun third-person vehicular sequences and outstanding friendly and enemy artificial intelligence. The game's subtle innovations--the tactical consequences of such things as having recharging energy shields, being able to carry only a couple of weapons at a time, the ability to throw powerful grenades in between shots, and the option of dishing out fierce melee attacks--also did a lot to differentiate Halo from other shooters, and proceeded to influence subsequent games. Halo's multiple, well-balanced difficulty settings, two-player cooperative campaign option, and assorted multiplayer modes also ensured that the game had tons of lasting appeal. All these factors contributed to the game's well-deserved success, and they're all back in Halo 2. For the most part, the sequel takes an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach to its gameplay--everything that you loved about Halo's action is back in full effect here. At the same time, the handful of new additions in Halo 2 are well thought out and well implemented, enriching the gameplay and making it seem fresh but still familiar.

Everything that you maybe didn't love about Halo is pretty much back, too.

My son wanted it so I ordered it except for a mix up at the post office I did received it. The only problem I had was they said they shipped it on a certain date but when I checked the post office site it was a day or two later.

I haven't used it, in fact I received it today. I decided to buy it because I am a Halo fan, I have all the games, controllers, and other stuff. I also didn't have the extra maps that this disk offers. The item was also as described by seller so know I trust this guy, if I buy from him again. Overall, this was one of my best purchases

Simply put, Halo 2 is by far the greatest first-person shooter the console world has seen in the past. From the monster multiplayer (both off- and online) to the perfectly constructed single-player campaign, this game never lets up for a second.

If you have been following the Halo phenomenon, you already know that this sequel has introduced dual wielding, vehicle boarding, and a host of Xbox Live options including clans and the ability for four players on a single split-screened TV to all be online.

Just as goods and well done as the original. If you liked the first version, you will like the second even better. More things that make the game a lot better and way more fun. Highly recommended!

my son love halo and he just love the game.he said that the game is better then the last one he has and he said the maps are great too.

This is definitely a great product, free from any flaws, a must-have for all Halo fans. This will keep you busy until the release of Halo 3.

I love Halo and Halo 2. And when I heard about the new maps they made, I immediately wanted the map pack. Sure you can get it off of xbox live, but what can you do if you don't have live?

Great Maps & lots of fun !!! But it's FREE through X-Box live...should of did that first, and saved the money!

Halo is a great game, and so is the map pack. Adding more maps to play is always a good idea (buying from enerb is not) and makes it more fun. So if you enjoy halo, you will enjoy these extra maps. I would recomend getting the other two maps that microsoft introduced as well. Have some fun multiplayer action with halo 2 map pack!

The Halo 2 Multiplayer pack is a great buy. The NEW levels are awesome and TONS of fun. Excelent maps, great graphics.

Until 360 version 3 comes out, this is a good fix for all of you Halo fans in need of a change. I have a Youth Group from Church of 10 guys. We are all happy with the new maps as we knew every inch of the old ones. Add the capture the flag ellements to these maps and you have days of additional fun! Great purchase.

My friend and have been looking for this for months now since we've got bored of the normal maps and i found it at a local store today love the new maps and the extras are nice i cant think of anything bad about it so anyone who has halo 2 and is bored of the normal maps has to get this

This is a must for Halo 2. As soon as you get the map pack you wonder why you never got it right away. This is a great add on to have when you play multilayer with your friends!

The Map Pack is rated excellent simply because you need a change of scenery, and this adon provides the new views, hideouts, easter eggs etc. But did you know this adon does more then give you maps, it provides improvments for the overal game play and graphics, and more.

The Halo 2 Multiplayer Map pack is one of the best things i've ever bought to continue a video game. I play Halo 2 for the multiplayer battles, not for the campaign. When we would play, we would play on the old maps and sooner or later everyone got tired of them. The multiplayer Map pack gave me many more awesome maps to chose from to play on. So any time when all of us get together to play, we can play for hours and have tournaments on many more maps, which is crazy. I decided to buy it after I was tired of the old maps so I knew they made the Map pack and I decided to hunt for and buy it.

The price was ok but these people sent me the wrong item. they did give me a full refund though so all was good.
