Hairspray (2007, DVD)

I borrowed the dvd from a friend and liked the movie so much I got my own dvd.
It is a high energy, make you want to dance and sing kind of movie. I loved it!
The acting and performances are great!!! It makes you cheer for the big girls and I can appreciate that!! You will love it!

My 7 year old daughter loves this movie. She watches and sings along with such excitment. Great wholesome movie!!!

I still have not yet received my movie hairspray I would like a refund and if I were you I would not purchase anything from this person. Not reliable

I borrowed this from my mom and the kids loved it so I purchased it on Ebay. The kids love the music. It tells what it was like back in the day between the colored people and the white people. It's a cute movie. I think I have all the songs memorized. Fun actors/actresses too.

I loved this move, for a musical it is funny and entertaning. I bought it because I heard it was funny.

I liked this alot. My daughter watched this all the time. It is an excellent musical. John Travola is excellent. I recommend it to anyone who likes musicals. I don't normal care for musicals but this was excellent. *********

Very fun movie to watch, especially since I am a 43 year old male. The wife and the kids loved it. Both of my daughters want to own it so it was a homerun as a Birthday present.

I loved this movie in the theatre so I had to buy it. It was a great price for a new dvd so I bought it.

I LOVED IT!!! It's been a while since I had seen the original starring Ricky Lake, but I enjoyed that one as well. I liked the remake a little bit more just because the actors were more familiar to me Amanda Bynes, John Travolta etc. It's so colorful and fun and I honestly think anyone would like it. I think that this film is good for younger audiences to see as well because it can give them a little more insight on how American society used to be like before the Civil Rights Movement.

This DVD was purchased for my teenage daughter Charee and we had been going to different stores to purchased the DVD but they were out of stock or they had no known knowledge of the DVD and I checked Ebay and one was available for the idea price The DVD kept her amused

I love this movie! The actors are great, the music is exciting and catchy.....I will watch this movie over and over again. My kids love it, too. The highlight of the movie is John Travolta....hilarious!!

This was an okay movie. I would recomend renting it before buying, unless you get an awsome deal on it. like cheap. I didnt really care for the whole musical thing. the whole movie was basically a muscial. But what I did like about it was the whle fighting for the black and white to come together. there was one girl on there that i am not nameing, you will have to see the movie to know what im talking about but she totaly changed the way that i look at her. never thought she was like that. she did an awsome job in the movie!!! Way to go girl you rock!!!

I liked this movie because it was fun to watch, it is different than most movies coming out these days. The dance scenes are great and Travolta in drag was a hoot.

Quick delivery, good price and someone has been watching the movie since it has arrived. Very pleased with quaility of movie and proves it is not a copy.

The DVD was so fun, but I didn't realize that there was also a lesson in tolerance dancing through the storyline. This made it so much better and I will watch it with grandkids and see if they pick up on the message.

Wonderfully entertaining. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes music and old time entertainment. Nothing bad to say at all. I'm buying a copy for my parents.

This new twist to the cult classic Hairspray is phenominal. All the actor bring something new to an ongoing idea of equality. Whether its fat or skinny, black or white, it puts the message out there that it doesn't matter what you look like, you can achieve anything you put your mind to. And sometimes you have to go against all odds to make your dreams come true. John Travolta and Queen Latifa are absolutely fabulous in this movie.

My grand-daughters wanted this DVD, so I got it for them for a gift.
They are enjoying it, they think it is very funny.

I bought this as a Christmas gift after taking my friends to see this on broadway and they loved the movie just as much as the play. I have seen the original, the broadway play, and now the movie and I must say I am not disappointed but any means with the movie. It funny, its fresh, and its great.

This movie is a good movie. if you like singing that is.My whole family liked it. can not wait to see it again. Your kids like hsm. they will like this movie
