HP PhotoSmart 912xi 2.2 Megapixel

I have bought this camera HP PhotoSmart 912xi (Similar to PENTAX EI-2000) from eBay in 2000 and it is serving me still, must say it was worth more than those spent $500+ and is still worth (sometimes sold on eBay) those $200+ I also bought similar camera to a friend of mine in a year 2003 or 2004. Of caurse the newcoming cameras have more Megapix. and other options, but this one - my first digital camera will always warm my heart.
Can advice amateurs to buy such camera and to use even now, after so many years...

Addition information: (up-date of July,3 2007), the camera has travelled during these years through France,Netherlands,Germany,Poland,Czechia,Slovakia,Lithuania,Estonia,Latvia,Finland,
Sweden,United Kingdom and in total I made over 15000 images and camera is still in working order, but must admit it has become slow with any flash sized over 128Mb and has two unsignificant use damages: a small crack obtained in 2000 (in the very beginning of use) and finally in march,2007 the sear-spring of the flash-light became loosen, so I have to open it manually.
