Gun is a fun Wild-West style video game.

Pros:
- Good "Western" Atmosphere
- Freedom to ride and explore wherever you want
- Many fun missions, such as bounties, sheriff and more
- Good Controls
- Astonishing Landscape
- Great Story
- Large variety of weapons

Cons:
- Story is too short
- Some graphics to exagerated with gore/blood (Scalping??)
- Most missions are too easy, the rest are too hard

I disliked strong language, but action was great. Loads of shooting with guns blazing. keeps your interest. I always wanted to try game and found it for a good deal.

This game is a little older, but I have liked it very much. Great storyline, controls are easy to use, graphics are good for ps2. This game isnt for the younger ones, but for the older ones like me, I sure recommend it to all

Great item, it was like brand new.. I bought this item for my son who said it was an awesome game to play.

My daughter likes to play this game. It is an adventure and there are certain tasks you have to complete. Gun is really not for little kids due to the fact that you shoot people.

I bought this game for my husband and he cannot put it down! The cast of realistic characters, real action and all-star cast on voices makes this seem like watching a western and playing the game at the same time, only you control the action. You don't have to be a fan of westerns either, we aren't. This is most definately NOT a game to play when children are wandering the room with you, (in one part a bad guy slits a prostitutes throat and it is very graphic). However, for adults, I have to say that my hubby loves it.

this is an awesome game the graphics are fantastic and the game is hard enough tpo present a challenge but not so hard you will never beat it guaranteed to provide hours of enjoyment does contain violence and some sexual content so parents beware!

A good game for kids. Like the story mode. Not to many western themes to offer in the cyber wprld today. Maybe, even a few of us older uncyber-smart, get your butts kicked by their kids dads can play it too.

This game takes you back to the time when there was cowboys and indians. You get all the excitement of playing poker, hunting down outlaws, riding as part of the pony express, digging for gold, and fighting off bandits. I find games this exciting and authentic are hard to find now a days. Getting the hang of the controls are a little hard at first but once you get them you better hold on cause there is so much to do and a lot of land to cover. Be careful of shooting or running over innocent civilians with your horse because you will have a riot on your hands, they will come after you guns a blazing.

The only down side to this game is there is some bad language, wich means it may not be recomended for your young kids, I always thought they should make a game similar to this one but aimed towards the young ones or the whole family. Maybe in the future we will see something so great in that direction.

I bought this game for my son at christmas time. He loves it. If it makes him happy then I know this was a great product.

Well I love to read about the old west, so I after seeing this title, and reading the description I had to get it. I love shooting the hat's off of people and sneaking up behind them and grabbing them, that is so cool. I love the fact that you can ride horses and go after bad guys. Matter of fact, killing people is fun, fake people of course not real lol. What I dislike, is that some of the game is really too hard. I'm a avid gameplayer, and I have been stuck on one part for a month. It gets really irritating. Also the time allowed on the pony express parts is not quite enough, even if you push your horse to exhaustion, you only win by 2 seconds. I bought it because it was what I wanted, and of course, I got it at a great price on ebay!

It's a great game. I was actually surprised, but is very challenging, great graphics, humor, some language not suitable for kids, but good story line and not a game that you run right through.

Still can't kill the big boss at the end. For that game being a few years old...it was a pleasant surprise and well worth the bargain price from a great e-bayer.

I disliked it because there were no good communication from the seller. No good feedback on time. Excessive shipping costs (more than the product itself). Not recommended to anyone at all.

Colton White was a man who simply loved his job finding game to sell with his father,Ned.However as the two set aboard on a steamboat to retrieve an item they are ambushed.That was just the beginning of the story it gets even better at the end but you can find out about that yourself.This game features a large amount of guns,bows,rifles,sniping rifles and a bow.You can ride a horse,of course you'll need to in order to complete missions so you can increase your stats.If you have trouble beating groups of enemies you can go into the quickdraw mode where you will have a chance to kill many enemies without getting hit.This game is great for many people as long as they're not too young.The only problem with the game is the story,it's great but it's too short I ended up beating the game two days but the number of missions will keep you around until they're finished.

I bought this game because someone told me it was like Grand Theft Auto but with a western tast to it. And it is true. You can "steal" horses instead of cars, shoot most "non-storyline" related people, and do different missions to obtain money and gain experience. The reason I did not give this an excellent rating is due to the great but TOO SHORT main storyline. There a are still a lot of side missions for you to do like helping the sheriffs in different cities keep order, or the pony express missions where you are a delivery boy. My favorite are the wanted posters (dead or alive!), where you get to be a bounty hunter pretty much. You can also play Texas Hold'em at the casino. I recommend you mix in side missions with storyline missions to enjoy this game more. Otherwise you will be done with the game and still have tons of side missions like I ended up with. I beat the game weeks ago, but I still have like two towns with side missions left.

The last mission was kind of hard. It took me many tries and I thought I could never do it but there is a way and I was fully satisfied with this game. One of the best PS2 games I've ever played. Unique western. Tons of mission. And even after the game end you can still do missions. It seems as if I never ends. I never rode a real hours but this game as sure got me hype. I promise, this is a must-have!

My son had been trying to find this game in the stores after playing it at a friend's house. We found the game on Ebay at a reasonable price. Saved money by doing it this way. It was convenient and he got what he was looking for! The game is fun, exciting and challenging. Watch for a lot of violence and rough talk though.

Really good game , nice sequence . it's an excelent game for teeneagers who like the ols west history.Great scenes ,cool movements,great sound i recommended

Graphics 9/10 -

Awesome graphics for a PlayStation 2 game. Unbelievably detailed terrains compliment the rustic buildings. The people's mouths move in sync with the words, all the body movements are fluid. Great animations in this game. By far superior to Red Dead Revolver. Other games, such as Shadow of the Colossus, obviously has better graphics, but this game holds its own in the battle for realism.

Story 8/10 -

At first when I put the disc in the tray and eagerly sat back into my chair and listened to the story I thought "The hell...I'm lost!" But, over time, the story becomes clear. I don't like spoiling games, so I won't go into detail. But it's nothing original or new, however it is well executed. Plus it is open ended. Which sums up to hours of endless fun.

Gameplay 9/10 -

Excellent gameplay. Smooth controls! This is quite possibly one of the smoothest games I've played in awhile. Whether shooting in first or third person views you will hit your target. If the reticle is red, so will your enemy's shirt soon enough. As far as level designs go...It's nothing special. It's two cities; Dodge City, Kansas and Empire, New Mexico. Those two cities are separated by an expanse of...well...emptiness. A few caverns, herds of buffalo, some wolves...Kind of empty.

Difficulty level -

Not really a ranked category...But I thought I'd throw it in here for one reason: THIS GAME PISSED ME OFF! It takes a lot of patience only because this game is a large escort mission mixed in with some action. Be it escorting a wagon, protecting some one, or escorting some cows or a rancher...It takes patience, like I said. I actually broke a small table in my room because of the frustration. It's quite hard. Even on easy... Although it can be frustrating and it takes several retries, it's a short game. I beat it in a day.
