his CD is a must have for all the Bob Seger's fans, as it will take you back in time with some of his very best, and our favorite, songs. I bought this album, yes album, when it was first released back in the 70's. It was a great album then but when I heard it had been released on CD, I knew I had to have it. I am so glad that I did. It sounds absolutely amazing in digital. This CD has most of the Oldies like " Mainstreet ", "Still The Same", and " Turn the Page" only now they're all crystal clear. You will really appreciate hearing the very talented Seger on the piano and guitar, with The Silver Bullets playing backup, on the horns and drums... Seger's vocals never sounded better on this rendition of "Turn the Page"! As if that wasn't already enough, We also get to hear some of Seger's newer songs. " Like A Rock", who some will remember hearing in the Ford truck commercials, Also, included is a song that Seger wrote for his son Cole called " In Your Time" This is a great CD. One of my very favorites. Seger has one of those rare voices that you recognize as soon as you hear it. You won't be disappointed with this 14 song POWERHOUSE.

I found out 2 days after receiving the CD it was scratched and wouldn't play correctly, the cost of returning it for a refund was counterproductive. I got stuck, buyer beware.

I'm a novice to Bob Seger's music. Where have I been all my life? His driving rythms pump up the heat in your soul. He has a certain earthy quality. My cousin is a big fan, also. I am now, too.

The greatest hits of Bob Seger really bring back some memories with me. Have seen him many times on the stage. He was awesome in his day and still is today even though he has tamed his music a bit he still have that deep nice voice. This Greatest Hits is great! If you buy this one though you really need to buy the other volumn that goes with it to have a complete set of Seger's Greatest Music ever.

Rock on, great tunes from the pastSerer's gritty, hard core, down and dirty 70's rock is classic stuff that we will never forget.

Inexpensive CD's and so many choices to pick fromI've been searching for music that I use to listen to back about 20 years ago and always had a hard time finding it. Now, I'm able to find just about every type of music I've been in search of and what's even better, is the cost. Not only are you getting hard to find music, your also getting it at such a low price. I would recommend anyone looking for hard to find music to get your CD's here.

This Volume 1 Greatest Hits is the best of his 2 Greatest Hits. Don't even waste your time on the second. This is the one until he releases a box set with all of his hits. The break he took was too long. Buy this one!!!!!

Every song on this cd is excellent. I was just going to buy a few songs on itunes but they didn't have the hits versions, they were only available on this particular cd. I LOVE this cd, brings back lots of memories.

Greatest Hits - Bob Seger (CD 1994)The cd brings back some old memories. Since I'm a baby boomer and a Vietnam vet the music on the Bob Seger Greatest Hits hits home.
