  TRAVIS TRITT - BEGINNING HITS
Review created: 04/17/08

If you are in to Travis Tritt and his "Georgia Boy" persona and that almost "Rock-a-Billy" style.. Then you are going to want this disc for your collection.. It carries, perhaps, a bit too much Bravado for the classic country music fan.. In some circles, it seems more like a bit of "knife and gun club" music..

If you're going to buy any Travis Tritt music, this is the only CD you need. I purchased the item to load it onto my iPod. It's a great compilation - tons of hits.

Travis Tritt is one of my favorite music singers!

This CD is pretty much a classic by now but I it is still an awesome CD! Except for one or two songs this whole CD is filled with the best songs that you could listen to over and over again. True, you could download these songs of the internet for free but it would take you a while to get all the songs in a high quality copy so why not buy this CD for a couple bucks instead?

He has over a dozen big hits on this CD. Most of them are upbeat but a couple of them are slow; either way his songs are awesome. He has the best country songs of his era.

I know him personally..ask him about hunting alligators in Sanford Florida..best singer out there. A lot of people have best of's but no one can top "Fred". Also he is one fine alligator hunter. Have been listening to him for as long as he has been singing. I just dearly love half.com and have never made a bad purchase and shipping charges are always fair.

Pros:
Emotional. Honest. No-frills.

Cons:
Doesn't include his post-1995 hit songs.

I guess it was only natural that with the demise of hair metal at the end of the 1980s, the 1990s would present brand new pop-culture fads, and the explosion of country music was one such example. Among the top stars to benefit from this development was a longhaired country boy by the name of Travis Tritt. His CD From The Beginning is a greatest hits compilation that is sure to win over new fans and please old ones. Tracks: 1. Here s A Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares) 2. Anymore 3. Put Some Drive In Your Country 4. Foolish Pride 5. The Whiskey Ain t Workin (Duet with Marty Stuart) 6. Help Me..

Pros:
Excelant songs, with lots of heart and soul.

Cons:
Track 8

Travis Tritt, has a very large variety of country style songs, from honky tonk, two steppin tunes, to romantic slow dancin tunes. Over the years, he has become much more popular in the country world. I know many people who aren't really country music fans, but enjoy his music. This particular album is a great example of his many musical talents and shows how his music style varies. This album is a mix of some of his great songs from different albums. He is a great vocalist, but we all know that the music helps make the band. The instrumentals on this album are provided by the following: Larry.

Pros:

Cons:

Travis Tritt--Oh mY! I have loved this man since I heard Country Club and my love affair with him has not waivered one single inch since then. Travis's Greatest Hit album is one marvelous song after another. You will find no disappointments here. Here's a Quarter, Anymore, Put Some Drive In Your Country, Foolish Pride, The Whiskey Ain't Workin', Help Me Hold On, I'm Gonna Be Somebody, Only You, T-R-O-U-B-L-E, Tell Me I Was Dreaming, Country Club, Can I Trust You With My Heart, Sometimes She Forgets, Ten Feet Tall

Pros:
Great artist, wonderful music

Cons:
He's not ranked high enough.

This man is wonderful. He is the best country singer today. His songs really hit home and he does a wonderful concert. He's a nice guy. Hey, I've met him so I know. He really has an honest outlook on life and his musical talents reflect that. His music can move and inspire you. It's about real life and people who you can identify with. It's not about music stars or celebrities. It's about hometown folk, troubles with families, love of a couple, and much more. This is a great cd, but so are all the rest. This just happens to be my favorite.
