I think this Cd covers only a few of the Many, many,Classic Aerosmith songs.There are so many of them,there is no way you'd be able to fit them on ane Cd. There whole catolog of Cd's are Awesome!!!!

needed it, could of put used in the title so I didn,t have to click on it. My biggest complaint is the amount of shipping sellers charge for cds as it only costs a 82 cents to ship and they are all charging over 3 dollars

Excellent selections from their heyday. I have always been a big fan of Aerosmith. I like their new stuff, post 1990, but I love the stuff from the '70s. That's what I grew up with and I still love it. Now my kids like it, mostly because of the song Dream On from the movie "Miracle". Back in the Saddle, Walk this way, Sweet Emotion, Draw the line, gotta have it. All time greats.

Greatest Hits (1972-1979) - Aerosmith CDI decided to buy this item because all of my CDs had been stolen from my car sitting in my driveway. I was devastated. I didn't have that much money to replay almost 100 CDs. Replacing them by buying them on Ebay was an inexpensive and easy way to replace several of them. This CD was in good condition. It plays well and there appear to be no defects. I was happy with not having to play full-price at a store somewhere for this same item.

cheaper than itunescheap than itunes .99 cents a song, and when you want to buy 3 to 4 songs, well buying on ebay makes senses.

This was my first Aerosmith CD way back when! I love it. There are some very good songs on it such as Dream On, Back in the saddle, and Kings and queens! Even after having it for all of these years, I still can listen to it over and over!

You know what tune made me buy this album? "Walk This Way". Yup, it was all "Walk This Way". "Dream On" and "Back In The Saddle" and "Last Child" meant nothing to me, but I wanted some "Walk This Way". Greatest Hits was the first Aerosmith CD I ever bought, and I suppose it's a nice introductory CD, but when you become an Aerosmith fan... like, a FAN... this album's just freakin' frustrating. There was a time in my life where Aerosmith was my favorite band. That was back in the early 90s during the Pump era. Now the luster has fallen off somewhat. But I still enjoy listening to them. Greatest Hits was the second Aerosmith album I bought on CD (the first being the mediocre Get A Grip). Up to the point when I purchased it, the only songs I knew from the 70s incarnation of Aerosmith were the radio ones. For the most part, that's all you'll know after listening to this disc. The Beatles. Elvis Presley. Frank Sinatra. Aerosmith. What do all these artists have in common? They each have too many damned "greatest hits" compilations. It seems that every five years or so, Aerosmith comes out with yet another retrospective collection of hits. I can think of at least five off the top of my head, and that's not even counting live albums (to their credit, Classics Live and Classics Live II were released without their consent). That's not to say Aerosmith isn't good, but to me, releasing that many "best of" albums is presumptuous, to say the least. It's kind of like sending.
