Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (Xbox)

For those who appreciate the sophomoric, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the ultimate indulgence. This particular storyline follows Carl Johnson, "CJ", who takes it upon himself to regain his "street cred" in his old Grove Street neighborhood, all the while cleansing his home city of gang violence and building his business empire across the cities of San Andreas. Despite the challenging missions, what makes the game so much fun is that it is truly a cartoon for adults. Character voices include the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Charlie Murphy, and Peter Fonda, among many others. The developers' attention to detail and variety of side-missions will have any gamer discovering new features and laughing at new jokes many months after starting a game. In other words, San Andreas has a very long shelf life before it gets old.

Like its most recent predecessor, GTA: Vice City, San Andreas could be considered a "period piece"--this time for late 80's/early 90's West Coast living. Get into any vehicle, and as you surf the radio stations you may hear Ice Cube, Stone Temple Pilots, or Eddie Money--with George Clinton or Axl Rose as the radio DJ. Whereas previous GTA games focused on one city, San Andreas is a state with 3 major cities--caricatures of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas--with countryside in between, thus making the landscape of this RPG absolutely enormous. The developers' sophomoric sense of humor spares no detail in their creations. Virtual doppelgangers of places like Luxor Las Vegas and Camelot are renamed into much raunchier (and funnier versions). You may ride in a boat called a "Reefer" or a car called the "Bf Injection". As you walk past pedestrians in different neighborhoods, you overhear strange parts of silly (and sometimes nasty) conversations. There is even a "secret" army base in the desert, called Area 69. Needless to say, this game is not for children. Even clean jokes may be over the heads of some minors because of the subjects they parody. All in all, if you like a challenging role playing game and can appreciate the little details in a big world; you will get your money's worth from San Andreas.

and goin to try it out. but id like to try n play GTA San Andreas. but im lookin for the one thats the adult version i guess it has the hot coffee in it what ever that means. so yah im lookin

Everything about this game is great...The ability to buy so many properties..Fly different aircraft...Fight the army..and if you like lots of cheat codes..the aiming system leaves alot to be desired but you cant get everything perfect on a title this big and with this much content

This is a very good game it's a little bit long but thats not a complaint....you just get to play it more:) really like it ....good game

ITS JUST A GAME THAT YOU NEED TO OWN BECAUSE NOT ONLY OF THE CONTRIVERSARY AROUND THE GAME, (ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS IS THE FIRST EDITION) BUT BECAUSE ITS JUST A CLASSIC.

This game is awesome. Unlike some of the Grand Theft Auto games, San Andreas has tons of things for you to do besides your current missions that go along with the story line. You can achieve a girl friend, work out at a gym, and even race and design cars.

As a loyal original XboX owner, I have been playing the last remaining games that were produce for the XboX. However, when the opportunity came along to buy San Andreas I had to jump on it, since it is still popular on EBAY! The game is so wide open that, if you can think of something to do in this game you can just about do it. From jumping fences to escape the police, to lifting weights to get stronger, to recruiting fellow gang members to go do dirty work together and even picking up girlfriends along the way. The set-up for the game is so expansive that there is a freaking interstate built into the game, police chase resemble the highway scene in the Matrix Reloaded.
This game is definitely all that and then some more!!

I bought it for My Nephew for Christmass, and He enjoyed it and said that the "Story line is Cool and something to do." I payed a good price for this Item (Highest Bidder) seeing as though it was the original GTA, I was surprised at the Low Price with Shipping came out to less than $20.00. The Interesting thing about this game (Upc-71042596956) is the "Hot Coffee" sequence which You dont get in the Newer Remastered game (Upc 710425299179) My Nephew also says that its the same game but counts as a different game, as the Memory from the old Xbox GTA does not work with the Memory file on the New Xbox GTA 2nd edition. One other Note is that I had Bought the Newer Xbox Gta,but Sent it back seeing as that My Nephew could not Reload His Old files on it. Hope this Helps! GOD Bless.

I have completed all the Grand Theft Auto games and using the guide definitely enhances the game experience. Each GTA game gets better and so do the guides. This guide is the best yet! Sure you could play it on your own and have fun but you'll be missing most of what the game has to offer.

With the guide you'll learn about all the vehicles, all the hidden items, all the side jobs and every detail of the map. It will take you much longer to complete the game but you'll see that there is so much more to the game.

You'll find this guide on ebay for dirt cheap (usually a few bucks) and after you complete the game and move on you can sell the guide on ebay and get your money back! What a deal!

i disliked how when i bought the item that was listed as being first edition actually is a 2nd edition.

I am very unsatisfied. The game we received was for a different game system than we ordered. I had a difficult time to get someone to respond to my emails about this problem. I was directed to ship it back and they would send me the correct game. I had already paid for shipping and was told in order to receive the correct game I would have to pay again for shipping the incorrect game back to them. When I did finally receive the correct game it did not work.
I was not going to pay a third time for shipping to try for another one.
I would not recomend them.

It is a lot of fun to play! the graphics are cool as well as the seller i bought it from and i had no problemsd getting the item through eBay and it was a lot cheaper then buying at at a store

The game is good. Maybe the postman enjoyed the game too because it took 3 weeks to get to me in michigan from Iowa. But when I did get it the game was in good shape no scratches and I have been enjoying playing it.

Supposed to be in new condition, but was in poor condition. Wont work. Very dissapointed. Was supposed to be a Christmas present.

Great Game. It came just as promised. Delivery was also fast. Game was priced well below retail even with shipping.

It took a little longer than they said to get it but the game is great and in good shape. Got it for my son in law, He loves it.

This game is delicious! It was a little too crunchy though, and now I think shards of plastic are destroying my stomach. Another problem is that the disc will not fit into my Nintendo.

I didnt think i would like it as much as i liked Vice City but i was suprised to find out that this game is alot more fun and has alot of stuff you can do and it doesnt get boring after you play it awhile like most games. it actually may be the best game ive played in a long time. i love this game!
