San Andreas is by far the crown jewel of the Rockstar Lineup. As Carl Johnson you return to the fictional city of Los Santos after your mother has been murdered. Along the way you meet a slew of characters, voiced by high profile celebrities such as James Woods, Samuel L. Jackson, and many others.

Unlike previous GTA games, San Andreas is a state, with three large cities and miles of sprawling country side. The storyline of this game is great, with a plot that will keep you interested from start to finish. Once you complete the storyline the game remains fresh with plenty of mini games, side missions, and the overall fun that comes with causing random mayhem by gunning down pedestrians, blowing up cars, skydiving, swimming, working out, and more.

Your video game collection is not complete until you own a copy of San Andreas, arguably the greatest game ever to hit any console.

i like how you get to chose to either run around and shoot people, drive, or do missions. i think this is my favorite gta game.

I wanted to buy San Andreas because I enjoyed Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City. It was only a matter of time. I always enjoy games with free roam and the ability to do basically what you want. I love Rockstar Games.

Grand theft auto is easily the best game for xbox, it has a good story there is lots to do and the game never really ends. its very educational and teaches kids about the real world. i would recomend it for children ages 2 and up.

in this game it has violence and gore and super strong language which is really cool. you get to do almost anything and if this game is hard to get for the xbox which i know it is, you should definetly recommend this seller! plays on the xbox and on the xbox 360! overall, a super fun game!

I bought this game for my son, thinking it was a car chase game and, yes, stealing of cars. What I didn't know was that there is so much vulgar language involved and shooting of police officers, etc., for points. At one point I walked in to find one of the people on the games yelling, "Suck my @#$%". That was it. I yanked it and he hasn't played with it since. You'll probably see it being sold by me on ebay; altho, I hate to pass this garbage along.

I was telling someone at work about it, and he said he saw it at his brother's house and that there are prostitutes that will make the "car bounce" if you find a secluded alley.

This is the most fun and addictive videogame I have ever played. The story line is entriguing, dark and violent, the graphics are spectacular and the game is long as it is fun. San Andreas is basically Vice City X 3. There are 3 cities in the game, roughly immitating Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas. You go from one city to the other causing mayhem and completing missions, as well as on the accompanying countryside and desert areas in between the cities.

This is a great buy if you have lots of time at home to kill. San Andreas will keep you entertained for days and days. Just don't plan to do anything else in between. You might not be able to get away from it.

I bought this game much after its popularity had decreased and found it on eBay for a low price of 10.00 new in the box! This game has an amazing story to the point that you feel as if you are CJ and the other characters in the game are your actual friends. You have many missions to do and the game lasts a long time. You can drive cars, bikes, motorcycles, fly airplanes, and even drive a train. The possibilities are endless with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. This is, however, not a game for a young one. You can go on rampages killing many people. Your experience level on weapons increased with more and more kills. The max you can reach is hit man, which in some guns, allows you to use to weapons at once.

I only have 1 criticism on this game. About half way through the game, you have to do missions with a character named Zero. These missions are tough and can frustrate you. Even with the use of cheats, which can come in handy in hard missions, these are nearly impossible to beat. This just about ruined the game for me. If the rest of the game was not breathtaking and extremely fun, I would review this as an Average game. But since it is such a great game otherwise, it defiantly deserves an Excellent rating and would recommend it to anyone who is above the age of 17.

personally,i may be wrong but this is what i think,that the graphics for this game have downgraded since vice city.but it is a fun game,so if you like grand theft auto it is a cool game,just dont be expecting any saint's row visuals.
