Can't believe we considered a side by side!

For our twin boys, we were considering the duoglider and a Combi side-by-side. We waffled back and forth and when we found a good online price for the duoglider we went for it. We wanted the side-by-side because it was just so much cuter to show off our twins! But when it comes down to it, convenience rules. We ended up using the stroller mostly for shopping and as I drive it between racks and people with just enough room for this narrow stroller to slip through, I can't imagine how difficult it would have been to get around in a side-by-side.

We have used this stroller with Graco car seats that we bought separately. They fit in ok, it just takes a little jostling to get it in just right and you have to tip the seat a little to get it in. Somewhat disturbs a sleeping baby, but not enough that I'd complain.

We have to pop the front cup holder off to fit it into the trunk of our Toyota Corolla. It's designed to come off, but it requires a forceful smack to snap it back on. It folds up fairly easily, but it takes a little patience at first to learn how to line the wheels up properly so it will fold up correctly. My wife got pretty frustrated with it at first, but I kept on her to just "practice" a little and now she handles it just fine. It takes up about 3/4 of our trunk space.

My wife doesn't like the bottom storage space. It has a good amount of space, but you have to bend over and reach under the stroller from the back to access it. I guess single strollers are easier to get into, but I don't know any better and think it works just fine. The couple holder and compartment are nice for keys and a drink, one advantage that this had over the side-by-side we were considering.

We bought this online, but we went to a Babies 'R Us to try it out and had them show us the little nuances to folding and using it. In all, we're very happy with this purchase! Side-by-sides are cuter, but this is much easier to move around in.

I did prefer to have my twins side-by-side. I never liked having one behind the other. It's like letting one see things first and having one hidden. I think this is a good quality stroller with a name you can trust, BUT I do not feel it is fair to the babies to be pushed with one behind the other.

We purchased the duoglider for our two sons. I didnt feel like there was much to choose from when we went to purchase a double stroller. Do you go side by side or behind? We decided for the slimmer one behind the other. We have no problems with that as our younger son is still too young to care if he can see or not. Some of the features We liked were the large sun shade with the additional flap you can pull down an additional 4inches of protection. Obviously that you can carry two children. But I feel this stroller needs a lot of help. We found that the buckles are cumbersome. You have the slide a piece from the shoulder strap onto the waist strap and then click that into the crotch strap on both sides. Im all about safety and love a 5pt harness but this ones a pain to put on. We also find that if our son is laying down the crotch strap is just too tight and theres no way of extending it unless its fully extended. If you change the child/baby from sitting up to laying down youll have to adjust the seat belt straps too. Also the front tray is a very tight fit for little legs. You can adjust it by where its clicked on the bars but we have them as high as they go and you just about have to unclick it to get our 2yr old son in and out, which is a pain sometimes because you really have to whack it to click it back onto the bars. The lower basket is nice and large but it doesnt lower to get items in or out.

Overall we give it an average rating. But if we could do it again I wouldnt recommend it nor would we buy another one. Unless there were changes made to a newer model.
Thank you. Please vote yes if this was helpful. Take care. :)

This is a great stroller, I love it!! I purchased this stroller when I had my second child, it was great to have both of them in a stroller when I was out and about during the day.
