Goodfellas (2004, DVD)

All the characters are casted well and the plot is well linked. I love a good gangster movie. The entire film from start to finish was well connected and kept you waiting for the next shoe to drop

This DVD is so scratched that it's unplayable, even on my laptop. Goodfellas is a great movie and I was exited to get the special edition DVD, but the DVD skips about 20 minutes into the movie. I feel a bit ripped off. I wish that I hadn't left the seller such nice feedback before I watched the film.

I LOVE GOODFELLAS!I WATCH THIS MOVIE SEVERAL TIMES A MONTH AND NEVER GET TIRED OF IT.I JUST LIKE THE TIME FRAME IN WHICH IT TAKES PLACE IN AND THE CHARACTERS.THEY REALLY SEEM LIKE GUYS YOU COULD HANG OUT WITH.SO IF YOU LIKE MOVIES ABOUT THE MAFIA AND THAT LIFESTYLE YOU'LL LOVE GOODFELLAS,TOO.

i hope this guide helps at least one person. This 2 disc special includes an commentary with the real henry hill and he talks about how it really happened. Another wonderful plus is Robert DeNiro does an terrific act as jimmy conway ray liota and joe pecsi also have great roles. I truly feel sorry for anyone who hasnt seen this movie as the first time you will always remember as i sure have. This Movie is one of the best classic mob movies ever made right there with godfather 1 2 3 sopranos, casino, highly recommended AAAAA+++++ Please vote if its any help at all to you thank you 4 your time

Both Casino and Goodfellas are classic American gangster movies. Robert Dinero, along with Joe Pesci and Al Pacino, and in a world of their own. And since both of these movies are based are real life characters, it really makes you think and picture the scenes. Both of these these movies have excellent acting and excellent cast's. They make you believe the roles. I truly wonder if deep down Joe Pesci wanted to be a gangster when he was a child. His acting is just to real in these movies. And he very well may be the best actor in both movies. In short, you cant go wrong with either movie. Fagetta about it!

i liked this movie alot. it had a great story and some of the best narration ive heard. great camera work. overall excellent.

One of the top 5 movies ever made. Ray Liota does the greatest portrayal of Henry Hill. He even laughs like the real guy! Should have won an Oscar for this role. He has been overlooked by the outstandinding performances by Pesci and DeNiro, but Ray carries the movie. Everybody should see this classic even if you aren't a fan on this genre!

I love to watch Mob-Mafia type movies, then factor in this superb cast and it's a no brainer. Very much like The Godfather, you find yourself rooting for "the bad guys". Ray Liotta is one of the wise guys and the viewer sees the movie through his eyes and narration. I feel like this was one of the many times the Academy Awards had over looked Martin Scorsese’s skills as a elite director.

I have seen the movie numerous times on premium cable, but I decided to buy the DVD to own a copy. If it hasn't been shown on other regular channels yet, it will be soon. That means it will be censored.

Just think what censorship did to The Jerk and you'll understand why I purchased a copy for myself. That alone should make you want to buy the DVD for posterity.

Only second to the Godfather I and II. This movie gets bette with age. Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci, and Robert DiNiro put on some of their best performances.

If you enjoy mafia movies this an absolute must have . Got it on ebay at an awsome deal. This movie is highly recommended !!!!!!!

I love this DVD because it's about how the Italian Mob used to be! I purchase on Ebay because it was really cheap and I knew I would get a great deal!!!

I thought this was the best mob movie ever made. The acting, realism, etc., is all good. I had this on VHS and wore it out, had to get it on DVD! Great addition to anyone's DVD library.

had this on vhs and wore it thin, thats how good it is, so I had to buy it on DVD, so i can enjoy it for many yearts to come

This special edition is the best. A real classic to any ones library! One of the all time greats that's always a pleasire to view!

This movie was described to me as the best mafia-film ever. It has many great characters, portrayed by a collection of great actors! I'd now have to agree that it is an unforgettable as the mob itself.
