Good Times is a most inappropriate title for this CD re-release of an original Elvis album from 1974. At least half of the ten tracks are not about anything even remotely to do with good times. For example, in My Boy Elvis is telling his sleeping child about his loveless relationship with the child s mother. Other less than joyous numbers include Take Good Care of Her and Loving Arms (about lost love), Good Time Charlie s got the Blues (about depression) and Spanish Eyes (about fare-welling a loved one). Good Times was one of the poorest charting albums of Elvis s career. Released in March...
