Pros:
Lemmon, Pacino, Arkin, Harris in that order. Cinematography, Musical score
Cons:
All testosterone. Gratuitous use of bad language, and Mamet's typically schizophrenic dialog
I have had this DVD on my desk for three months, to do this review. Why? Because basically, even though everyone loves this movie, it has been nominated for multiple awards, the actors were superb and the screen play was written by David Mamet, (winning a Pulitzer in the stage version). I don t like the movie. I was hoping that after a while, I would watch it again and change my mind. Ain t gonna happen. Wanna know why?
