Pros
+ Intense & Highly Addictive!!!
+ More than just a shooter (taking cover, survival horror elements, & squad combat all rolled into one).
+ Really feels like you are doomed to extinction in a war-torn world.
+ Gorgeous graphics + Great Controls + Online Multiplayer = Months & Months of Happy Gaming
+ Awesome co-op play.
+ Great effects & satisfying melee attacks.
+ Awesome enemies & you can play as most of them in multiplayer.

Cons
- Not a lot of vehicles & no vehicles at all in multiplayer.
- Online needs work (getting into matches, hosting matches, other people can ruin the experience before you even get to playing). Maps have few weapons and racing to the weapons is a chore.
- Host advantage, the same fault that 'Halo 2' suffered from.
- Sniper rifle is only single shot. Do semi-automatics not exist in the future?

Gears of War is a great game. It still needs some work as far as the online goes. Host advantage is getting old & just plain unfair. This game is one of the most intense games I've ever played. I can't begin to tell you how much fun it is. Just be quiet or the Beserker might here you!!!

A real must have for your collection. This may even make you stop playing Halo until part 3 comes out!!!

been wanting the game for a while and decided to finally buy it. game is better than i thought and this guy shipped superfast.

This game is for my son. He states that it is "the best game ever". He loves all the action in the game.

I love this game. I originally sold in when COD4 came out, but now i miss it more. I repurchased it on ebay, so i can play the awesome online multiplayer maps, and get myself ready for Gears 2 coming the end of this year. Defitinately the best game out there for XBOx 360.

this game is amazing, i would recommend this game to any fps person who owns a xbox 360. the graphics are top of the line and the action can be intense. epic has created a game worth buying to hold you aver until halo 3 came out and cod 4. all 3 games are a must have.

This game is pretty cool, I beat it fairly quickly but I didn't get the urge to play it at a harder setting. I like the story line and cool weapons. Definitely something you should check out if you like shooter games. The online version of this game is cool too. There are lots of cool things about this game but if you aren't into shooters then I suggest you rent it first.

very fun future sci fi fantasy 3rd person shooter. gritty good movement easy to play if your used to shooter style games. not for young children.

I bought this game for the online play. IT is fantastic! The Campaign mode is also actually pretty good too. It is a little short though. Other than that this game is one of the best games out there in my opinion. Cant wait for Gears 2!(Nov. 11, 2008)

I just got it, and haven't been able to put it down. BTW, I'm not a big gamer either. I loved Halo 3, but this game is grittier than Halo, and twice as bloody and fun. It's got my recommendation. Buy it used, and save the planet.

a blast !!! i loved this game. it wasnt extremely jard and was easily picked up after a couple of hours of playing.

I dislike because the game is damaged. The console does not read the disc. I will return the game...

I was never able to get this product because the seller did not explain how to retrieve it even though I said I wasn't sure how to get the information. I still ended up paying for it.

I ordered this game because my 15 year old son already had played it and wanted his own copy for home use. He could hardly wait for it's arrival. It came right on time as promised.
