Garth Brooks seemed to wonder into the country music world, as if he had always been there. He brought us songs from the heart. Songs we could all relate to. His music takes you back in time, and allows you to remember things, you had thought you had forgotten. Songs like "The Dance" and "If Tomorrow Never Comes" are wonderful, life experience songs, filled with memorable lyrics. I have to tell you this album is the whole reason why I started listening to country music again ten years ago. The song titled "The Dance" on this CD is still to this day my favorite song Garth has ever produced.....In fact it was the first song I ever sang in public when I got into singing myself while stationed at FT. Hood, TX. To me, Garth is the ultimate star of todays country music, and I believe that Garth played a big role in a lot of the sounds we hear in todays country music.
