Garmin StreetPilot® c330 Car GPS Receiver

I bought this gadget after getting lost one too many times...
Now I can set my mind at ease while I let the navigation system plan my route instead.

There are some great features that this particular model offers that other's don't. I was looking at comprable Garmin devices as well as the TomTom. The reason I went with Garmin is for its reliability of Maps and their establishment in the US. The TomTom is a European based company, and from what I hear, their US maps still have some kinks. Garmin apparently uses the most trusted sources of maps. Based on the routes that I've taken, the routes are comprable to the results that I've gotten from MapQuest.

Pros:
**Intuitive- I was able to use it out of the box
**Maps- Uses MapSource, a reliable provider of Maps
**Areas of interest- You are able to find restaurants, shops, gas stations, etc. based on name or distance. Great feature!!
**Small- easily transportable from vehicle to vehicle
**Map Views- You can select from 3 different views- I prefer the 3D view
**Battery Power as well as Car charger
**Clear Directions

Cons:
**Unit doesn't take Traffic into consideration- This unit does NOT have the option to add XM NavTraffic
**Quickest route does not take into account traffic lights
**One voice to choose from

Overall I think the unit is a great buy, and I'm hoping it will save me time driving in circles as I just moved to a new area. The TomTom apparently is a little more "fun", but lacks reliability. I think that you are making a solid purchace by picking up this Garmin unit.

It is what I have been renting at Avis, and I got really used to how to use it, so I wanted one like it!

This GPS is the best I have ever used. It has some many gadgets I couldn't even tell you them all. Even with all the gadgets it has, it is easy to use and navigate through.

Saved me gas first day. On my first days use, I saved at least 25.00 in fuel. I higly reccomend this unit to anyone interested.

I´ve bought this item from myron global, a seller from e-bay.
This item came broken. I´ve tried to contact the seller many times by phone or by e-mail but no response at all. I´ve mail the item back to the seller. I didn´t received no refund!!! e-bay didn´t helped me!!! I was stolen in quite 2 hundred dollars! Where is the e-bay staff? Who can help me? E-bay is not a safe place for buyers!

I needed the GPS to make a trip at the end of the month. I Didn't receive it though. I was really hoping to try it out.

The Garmin unit that I purchased was an excellent buy. The seller included an extra year of warranty so that really made my mind up on the unit. It is serving me well to this point.

I bout another one of this same kind and my girlfriend wanted one so she would not get lost .I add a new map to both of them so they would be updated .I dont like to pay for the new update on them .reson to update becouse of the new roads .

I love my GPS, I take it everywhere I go. I once could not find an address and was wishing I had a GPS. After that day I said I have to get me one. I am truley greatful to have my GPS I would never get lost again.

This GPS is so user friendly and easy to use that I bought a 2nd one for my Mom. When my husband and his friend used it, his friend said "sign me up for one of these". The Garmin people also were so helpful when I was trying to unlock the maps (a safty feature on all new Garmins). I am a Garmin fan and will only purchase their GPS's in future if the need arises.

my sister loved it bought one for her now she can go anywhere have one my self just gets us lost when you come up on new construction or new added roads. my other sister has one similar same brand just different model she upgraded hers through the computer but at new added roads it still got us lost a few times if i graded this one it would be 90% out of a 100 because of that

I work EMS. i bought the Garmin StreetPilot for quick directions and reference points. In the EMERGENCY MODE (were i keep it), it lets my partner and i keep our minds on the business at hand.

Very easy user interface. The only thing I don't like about it so far is the fact that the directions put us on an ATV road. There should be a better classification of the roads and the Garmin should avoid them if possible, and believe me it was possible.

I bought it to help navigate to those hard to find places. It is pretty accurate but sometimes is slightly of on distance. As long as you keep an eye on what you are looking for you can find it with this unit. The price was good and I needed somethng fast for a trip. Would recommend it to anyone who travels.

Purchased my Garmin for trip from SW Oklahoma to Austin, TX to visit relatives. Entered address and it directed us right to the front gate of apartment complex. Not only was it accurate but the ETA it provided was dead on. I have not had any problems with windshield mount as others have described. Only drawback that I am aware of, is that it may choose some secondary roads over more conventional routes. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Great product. i have one and love it so i bought one for my daughter. easy to use and read. some of the other products are more expensive but are no better than the 330c. this is the product i would reccommend for anyone purchasing a nav system.
