This CD collection is a rare find in that it contains original sound traks of Richard & Karen Carpenter with additional bonuses such as photos, career history and some media clips. Great for the true Carpenter's fan. One draw back is that this collection doesn't contain more recordings of the beautiful voice of Karen Carpenter only. There is a solo Karen Carpenter CD out there somewhere so keep looking!

This is a great 4 CD set of songs, commercials, radio clips, etc. There are pictures of Karen and Richard through the years of their career(s) together. It is a must for your Carpenters collection!

Ever since I was a small child, I've been in love with Karen Carpenter's distinctive voice. Listening to the songs she performed with her brother, Richard, especially the ones from the early to mid 1970s, always takes me back to a simpler time when all I was expected to do was just be a kid. Some time ago, I had the opportunity to purchase the Carpenters' 1991 box set, From The Top, very inexpensively. To my knowledge, new copies of this particular box set are no longer available since Richard Carpenter came out with Essential Collection: 1965-1997 in 2006. Still, since I own From The Top and.
