A directionless, uninspired, wasted oppurtunity

Pros:
Making Love out of Nothing At All is almost, ALMOST worth admission by itself. Given it All is a good song, too.
Cons:
Everything else is simply unlistenable.
1995 was a sad time for music overall, and when Bonnie Tyler, 12 years removed from the worldwide success of Total Eclipse of the Heart and 9 years removed from her last hit, period (Holding out for a Hero from the movie Footloose and her album Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire), was given the oppurtunity to make a comeback on par with the one Meat Loaf made 3 years prior with Bat out of Hell II, well, this was the result. This... being Free Spirit. Maybe the title belies the nature of the album; it's free alright, but in a totally directionless, incoherent sense. Bonnie Tyler's major success.
