Forever [PA] - P. Diddy (Cassette 2005)

Puff Daddy Will Be Here Forever, Sucking Forever

Pros:
R.Kelly on Satisfy You, G-Dep, bits of good production

Cons:
Everything BUT the Pros, and I'm not just being vague, I'm dead serious

Forever (for ev er): adv, For everlasting time; eternally First of all, f*ck Puff Daddy (or P. Diddy as he is called now, I m gonna call him Puffy for the rest of the review, because he still went by that name when this album was made). The guy represents everything that is wrong with Hip Hop and the people who spoil it. He is a sham, and only has a career because of his successful partner Biggie Smalls, who s death is the only reason Puffy finds the balls to act so cocky these days. It actually wasn t all that bad at first, as his solo debut, No Way Out, proved to be a banging album, though..

 Disappointed forever.

Pros:
"Satisfy You" is a decent song

Cons:
The rest of the lyrics are about how rich Puff Daddy is....who cares?!!?

After the highly successful debut album Puff Daddy released a few years ago, people thought it might be difficult to top. In my opinion, those people where right and Puff Daddy disappointed all his fans with his sophomore album titled Forever. I must admit, I liked Puff Daddys first album. Critics argued that he sampled too many songs from older generations all the way up to the new stuff. I really didn't see too much of a problem with that. His music got you moving and was easy to sing along with. I remember seeing an interview with Puff Daddy a few months after his first CD was released....

"Forever" might need a few more months.

Pros:
Features many guest artists

Cons:
Tracks are monotonous and tedious

When he released his first album entitled "No Way Out" in 1998, Sean "Puffy" Combs was designated as a new talent in the rap industry. This critically acclaimed album was all that it was cracked up to be. With hit tracks such as "It's all about the Benjamins" and "Can't Nobody Hold me Down," Puffy went on to sale more than 10 million copies worldwide, paving the ground for his way to stardom. He is known for sampling many old hit songs and transforming them into a new style of music. And it made him big. As CEO/Chairman of Bad Boy Entertainment, Puffy took many artists in and transformed them.

 3 Words: Puff Daddy Sucks!!
Review created: 12/24/99
by: JPBHoops -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
R. Kelly, Biggie, Bizzy Bone make appearances

Cons:
The whole cd: the beats, Puff's lyrics, everything

Yes, I have to admit, his first album was pretty phat and the joints on it were banging but Forever??? Freakin' horrible! The only song Puff has ever came out with that has his own original mixed beat and that hasnt been stolen from a whole other song, was Victory. He is so uncreative and unoriginal he should get the sh*t kicked out of him by the "real" rappers. If it wasn't for B.I.G., Puff would be a nobody. I definitely do NOT recommend you get this cd unless you are into crappy music, lame lyrics, stolen beats, and a corny-ass rapper-wannabe pretending to be on top of the rap game. P....

 Forever I think not...

Pros:
Familar Tunes...Jazzed up

Cons:
Lack of Originality

WoW....this album really bites!!! I'm not really surprised either. I didn't go out and buy the album..but I did take a listen to it at HASTINGS. What makes this album extremely bad is its lack of creativity and originality. I think people wouldn't be too impressed if I took old Journey, and Three Dog Night Songs and just looped a catchy beat and put some odd lyrics in there. I think they would call it Plagiarism...(well at least he tries to give the arist some credit with that fancy looking royalty check). I think Puffy is talented somewhat...the man knows how to get money. As a musician,...
