I have always been a Clint Eastwood fan, from his westerns, Television Show to Dirty Harry series and all his other movies. This movie completes my "Man with No Name" Trilogy. I am now working on getting all the other Eastwood films. These will be added to my John Wayne, Elvis Presley and James Bond collections. Not only do I enjoy all these films, but I am getting a chance to introduce my grandchildren and all their friends to Good Movies, instead of some of the trash that is being produced today. They are learning what Good acting and actors are.
i liked the price of the movie. i love clint eastwood. i do not dislike anything about this movie. i bought the movie because i love clint eastwood and i wanted the movie
Not up to par with ONCE UPON a TIME in the WEST - but still classic in its own way. Music and directing + young Eastwood. But real thing is - LEE Van Cliff- often forgotten classic hero of Italian Westerns.

Pros: Made Clint Eastwood a star. Ennio Morricone Score
Cons: Gritty, bleak, poor continuity, dubbing
This is one of the three movies that put "Rawhide s" Clint Eastwood on the map as a major motion picture star. For that reason, it is well worth seeing. In my opinion, it is the better of the three, the other two being Director Sergio Leone s "A Fistful of Dollars" and overlong "The Good, the Bad,
Following the release of 1964's A Fistful of Dollars, Sergio Leone had finally gained the success he craved for while the film not only became a hit in his native Italy but a year later, it was an international hit before finally reaching the U.S. in 1967. The film not only reinvented the Western genre but introduced the film world to Clint Eastwood. While A Fistful of Dollars was a great springboard to Leone, the Italian director didn't want to repeat himself as he decided to take everything he did in his previous film and pump up it even more into a sequel that didn't just take the Man with.

Pros: The movie.
Cons: The DVD.
For a Few Dollars More is the middle film of Sergio Leone's classic western trilogy starring a then upstart Clint Eastwood. Sandwiched between A Fistful of Dollars and the finale, The Good, the Bad,

Pros: Ennio Morricone's music; Leone's fantastic visuals and storytelling; a great cast
Cons: Very Few
Sergio Leone s Dollars Trilogy, or the story of Clint Eastwood as the Man With No Name took its middle entry with 1965 s FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE. Initially, Eastwood didn t want to take part in the film, especially since the first film, A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS, hadn t even been released in English yet. Thankfully for movie audiences, Eastwood decided to again play the role which made him famous, and we now can marvel at Leone s spaghetti western trilogy because of Eastwood s presence. The Dollars trilogy truly is one of, if not the most astounding cinema trilogies ever produced; I would say that..

For a Few Dollars More (1965)

Pros: cast, cinematography, direction, score
Cons: slowly paced, exaggerated characters
The best film in the career of Italian director Sergio Leone was probably his last, Once Upon a Time in America (1984). But he will always be better known for the four 'Spaghetti Westerns' that first brought him fame. The first three featured Clint Eastwood as the ironic, soft-spoken, lethal 'Man with No Name'. Eastwood had played a similar laconic tough guy on the television series "Rawhide"; Leone was casting as much as inventing the character. A Fistful of Dollars was the first film, a Western remake of Akiro Kurosawa's Yojimbo. While it was a good film, it was a low budget film with a...
