My 5-year-old son LOVES it!!

I bought it for the Grandkids and they just loved and so did the Grandma. It held their interest and mine through out the movie. I happened to end up with two DVD's so now they also have one. It just does not get boring. Action is always happening.

I bought this DVD movie for my grandchildren. I have heard many reviews about this movie, how funny it was for kids and adults. Good humor and fun for the whole family, hard to find in todays world. It stood the test and we all enjoyed it.

Excellent family viewing for young and old.I am a 44 year old man and enjoyed watching this movie. It is a movie that I could watch over and over again. My four year old watched it almost daily. It was well worth the money spent for it. Buying it on ebay is easier because I do not have to travel 60 miles to buy it brand new at Walmart.

A Charming Animated Film With Some Laughs For All AgesReview created: 03/08/07

Flushed Away is a charming film that will certainly entertain children and may even produce a few laughs from the adult crowd as well. When Roddy, a civilized uptown rat, is flushed down the toilet, he finds himself in a sewer adventure as he struggles to find his way home. This movie features a colorful cast with some talented voice actors. The film also features some fun and catchy music. The story is a too strong, but the comedy is. A villainous frog (Ian McKellen) is hoping to make a mess of Roddy's life, along with everyone else in the sewer city including a Rat named Rita (Kate Winslet). Rita befriends Roddy and helps him in his quest for the surface which leads to all kinds of trouble, comedy, and narrow escapes. Although my expectations which have been set somewhat low by most of Dreamworks attempts at animation, Flushed Away surpassed my expectations. Although the film still isn't up to par with Pixar greats, you still should check this one out.

This is a really cute movie. I have a 10 year old Daughter, and a 9 old nephew I am rasing, and I am always buying movies for them because they are really into the movies especially my daughter. I sat down with them and so did my husband and I must say this is really a cute one, and it's full of laughs. Anyway it's about this pet rat names Roddy, and his owners go out of town and he gets out of his cage has a little fun then along comes a sewer rat who comes and invades his home and then that sewer rats flushes him down the toilet where he ends up in the sewer with the rest of the sewer rats but then he has a journey of trying to get his way back home, and he comes across, frogs, and even singing slugs. This is full a cute animated animals, and creatures and also full of laughs. This is worth buying for the kiddies they will love it, and will watch it more than once mine have already. My money was well spent on this one. I give it a 5 out of a 5 rating.

Second things second, this review is mainly from an adult's perspective, as I am mainly an adult.
Flushed away is a solid children's movie, with plenty of toilet humor and fart jokes to entertain the kids throughout. It is often a bit lowbrow for the adult of at least average intelligence. The vast majority of the humor is - go figure! - sewer related, or dealing with bodily functions children and the developmentally disabled find humorous.
Long story short, though at times cute, this might be one to turn on while you're doing the dishes, or working on that crossword puzzle that's been giving you trouble. You won't miss much - the jokes are telegraphed way ahead of time, and even if you miss a plot point or two, the movie is just as enjoyable.
It's cute, but it's not Ice Age or Finding Nemo. The thing is, kids love it, so my rating is very likely low for people with children. I would bump it up to 4/5 if your rugrats are into this kind of humor (and I have yet to meet one that isn't).
