Final Fantasy X GuideIt really helps alot when you tring to beat the game and it was in good condition when I got it. I can now beat the game with ease.

I've always wanted to play a Final Fantasy game but never knew where to start. One day, out of the blue, I decided finally to start playing Final Fantasy X (you have to start somewhere I guess). Since it was my first Final Fantasy to play and I was new to the whole RPG genre (I was a FPS and RTS guy) I thought I'd seek out a strategy guide. I found this one at my local book store. It has been an incredibly helpful guide.
It has all the info you could think of - everything from character overdrives, sphere guide poster, boss strategies, a beastiary, maps, secrets and side quests - just everything.
I highly reccommend it; in fact now I have the Brady Games Final Fantasy 8,9, and X-2 strategy guides, all written by Dan Birlew.

AT FIRST GLANCE: The day was January 19, and the time was approximately 12:30 P.m. Standard Eastern time. Final Fantasy X had just arrived in a local video game store and I was eager to get it. I just have to say that I have not beaten ANY FF game without a strategy guide. On my first try, I just try to get through the game and get as many items that comes along my way and then my second time around, I m serious about it and I get all the items and level up more often and NEVER run from battles. Anyway, FF10 s Strategy Guide was done well. I own 7 strategy guides (which includes FF10) and FF10 s is the best. FF7 s strategy sort of stunk and FF8 s was OK and Onimusha s was good and Diablo 1 and 2 s was fine and Tony Hawk s Pro Skater 3 s was awesome, but FF10 s was definitely the...

The player's guide for Final Fantasy X is very detailed- it even includes an insert that details all of Rikku's mixes. It's a very good guide for the game, which doesn't give too much of the plot away although it does tell you enough of different events to potentially ruin it for somebody. Unfortunately, it doesn't include much into on the special arena monsters, but that's all right.
