I think this quote sums it right up, taken directly from the reverse side of the Final Fantasy VII CD case. This game has almost been out for ten years now, so if you somehow haven't played it yet now would be a great time to begin.

In my opinion, Final Fantasy VII's story line is worlds and worlds beyond any other RPG. Secondly, the soundtrack composed by Nobuo Uematsu is hands down the best OST created for any video game. This was the game that sparked 3-D rpg gaming for years to come.

I specifically remember walking into Frys Electronics here in Arizona right when this game was released. I had no idea what this game was but it had a neat looking cover. This is not an exaggeration; the store had a 30 foot upper shelf of all assorted PS1 games, and the entire bottom shelf was ALL ENITRELY FINAL FANTASY VII GAMES. Yes, the story actually had as many copies of Final Fantasy VII to amount for every other video game in the store combined, in the PS1 category. That's when I knew this game was something special, so I instantly purchased it and have no regrets.

Though I can't imagine how in the world it could be possible for someone to be into RPG console gaming and NEVER experiencing Final Fantasy VII yet, but if this is the case buy the game immediately.

I vote this game 5/5, excellent, and out of my whole game collection consisting of thousands of titles, this is the greatest game I have ever played and I highly doubt that it will ever be topped in my lifetime.

This game is legend in the Final Fantasy saga. Known as the greatest RPG series to hit stores since playstation came about. I've been a fan of the Final Fantasy Series for a long time and have EVERY collection including the Online version of Final Fantasy XI, and no other game in the series has came close to touching the emotion put into this game. If you're a true RPG game fan or a collector of Final Fantasy series, this game is a MUST have.

I love the game because it has so many different abilities and facets to play.

I like the game because it's an rpg as well as having one of my favorite final fantasy characters, Cloud Stife in it. I decided to buy the game because I own Final Fantasy III for the snes which is Final Fantasy VI for the ps. I was amazed by Final Fantasy VI that I was hoping that Final Fantasy VII would be just as good. Fast shipping is another reason why I decided to buy it from this seller.

The FFVII game has never been bested by the Final Fantasy games that followed. It had all the elements of a great game. But what really set it apart from the other games was that it was immense and well-though out...it was a beautiful and timeless game. Today, a lot of people are buying older games while the wait for better ones to come out on the PS3.

Bought it because it seemed like a good deal, turned out he lied horribly in the item description , stated no scratches..., game doesn't even play more than 1 minute before it freezes.

final fantasy 7 is quite possibly the best final fantasy ever made, not only that but maybe even one of the best video games of all time, it was the first final fantasy where the player gets to see the whole world in a realistic feel, they can go anywhere, do anything and have fun for hours just exploring, it has an enticing storyline with plot twists and sinister villains you just love to beat up, the gold saucer is fun and keep a player busy for hours with all the games, or hang out in the midgar slums and hang with the locals, you can go to cosmo canyon and check out the rest of the universe and learn about the worlds past and possible future, the possibilities are endless, the whole world of ff7 is one of the greatest ever made, its also more expensive than some other games on ebay, ive bought quite a few games already and ff7 was the most expensive yet, although its real value is much greater, kudos to the masterminds at squaresoft for making a remake of this great game with updated graphics, finally the player will get a much better image of the world we fell in love with final fantasy 7 will go down in history as one of the greatest video games of all time

before i got the memory card i was at the Ancient Temple.when i got the memory card i had to start all over again.i didnt mind because all the Goodies that were on the Memory Card was worth it

I like the game play and the characters. Wanted to buy it ever since getting Final Fantasy 8, 9, 10, and 10'2. This is the RPG that started most of the RPG craze.

its a great game, very compelling storyline and definitely worth the price tag it has, seeing as its no longer in production and is definitely worth the time to play, its much better than a lot of games being made nowadays.

For one thing, you can't finish it in a sitting, as Final Fantasy VII will be a solid 40 to 50-hour commitment for the average role-playing gamer. Otherwise, you might be taken aback by the extensive, text-heavy dialogue; there is no speech at all in Final Fantasy VII, in the interest of letting your imagination do a little work. Though you will make many small-scale decisions over the course of the game, on the whole, the story follows a very linear path. This linearity is a by-product of the plot's complexity, however - certainly a respectable sacrifice.

This is the game that started the RPG crazed in the US i dont i have to add much since almost everybody played it (well older gamers like me) LOL well you can not go wrong with this game if you like the genre if you younger that 15 look at the game is great even if the graphic dont hold to today standard but great experience over all highly recomended
