I bought this boxset mostly for chrono trigger and I love it. It is by far the most unique game ever. Complexity and fun, both in the storyline and the battle system. This is by far a top ten of all time games!

I bought this game because it is a true RPG classic. It is the great grandaddy of games like Kotor and Mass Effect. If you claim to love the genre you owe it to yourself.

A Great Classic game that brings the games of old back to life. Like the old fighting style and storyline. Hours & hours of gameplay and great endings to these classics. Must buy and mustplay game.

Final Fantasy Chronicles (Playstation) is an awesome combined game of Final Fantasy 4 & Chrono Trigger. It's role playing characters is truly original. It's a "must have" for any Final Fantasy fan. I currently own one copy of the game and looking forward to acquire a new sealed copy. It's hard to find but worth your time once discovered it. It's cheaper to buy it here on Ebay than any game store. On Ebay, it would cost $25 average which includes shipping. In store, it would cost $60 average includes state tax plus discounts. It is truly a rare GEM!

I'm really glad you had this game, I didn't know if I'd be able to find it. I was telling my wife not too long ago that I wanted Chrono Trigger but didn't think it still existed. And we also wanted Final Fantasy IV to further our collection. Now, if I could just find a Playstation version of Final Fantasy III we'd have them all!

Final Fantasy Chronicles contains 2 amazing games: Final Fantasy 4 & Chrono Trigger, both originally released for the Super Nintendo. Both games were considered revolutionary and ahead of their time. Final Fantasy 4 came out in 1991 and Chrono Trigger came out in 1995.

This review would be incredibly long if I reviewed both games individually, so I'm just going to tell you to buy Final Fantasy Chronicles because these games are classics and will provide hours and hours of fun with two amazing titles!

If you have not bought this game, then you have missed a collection of a lifetime. Two great games in one set: Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger! Final Fantasy IV started the romance when Cecile, a Dragoon Knight was betrayed by his best friend, Kain and in turn, rebels against the Empire. Truly a great game. And Chrono Trigger, you play as Crono, a young man who met a unexpected fate of moving across time in order to change the past, present, and future. This is a game beyond anything else in the world of Super Nintendo. In addition, Chrono Trigger includes redone animations and cutscenes, and a gallery of music, tech/attacks, endings, etc... So if you have a PSX/PS1(which of course almost everyone does), buy this game already!

Final fantasy titles are most of the times classic rpg pieces. These two games, are two of the best of the 16-bit era, and now some many years and so many technological achievements later than their age these games are still playing quite well, and boast of great storylines if someone is able to look beyond their graphics which are obviously out of date.
I decided to buy these games because the price was reasonable, the games were clasic pieces that i wanted to own for my collection and of course because it was a great chance to play the games again in the Ps version, with renewed graphics and the new cut scenes.
These games are definately having in any collection, as the original copies and even better in a cd case.

2 very good games, combined into one package. How can you go wrong, Chrono Trigger which is my Top 5 all time favorite game and then a classic Final Fantasy 2 for SNES. For those who coudln't experience these on SNES please try them for PS1, because they are both great games.

Chrono Trigger-- about 20 hours of solid game play if you know what your doing, including the many sidequests and a NEW GAME + featurre where you can start over with the same stuff to destroy the game over again.

Final Fantasy 2---about 20 hours of gameplay also, if you want to level up to around 99 say, then you got yourself a long journey. Well worth it though!!

Chrono Trigger NEgative---Final boss= SIMPLE!!!

We bought the Final Fantasy Chronicles and have loved every minute of it. The storylines for both FF4 and Chronotrigger are great and its very nostagic to play using the old 8bit graphics and magicks. Anyone who's played any Final Fantasy should try this collection, they'll love every minute of it.
